We had been long time customers of Papa Johns located in Seymour TN, ever since they opened. Wed Nov 10th, we finally said, "enuff".

They have slowly been going downhill, Examples: Order thin crust, you would get thick crust. Order certain toppings, you would get something entirely new to the palate, which can be fine, but if kids won't eat it, and others are allergic, or we just don't like, that's a problem also.

Final straw: Ordered a Large Pizza and Cheezy Bread at 6pm Wed Nov 10th. We live 5 minutes away, and was told, 60 minutes to deliver. I asked how long if we picked up, and was told 30 minutes. We chose the take out. Arrived at 6:25, waited. Finally was told at 6:45 that pizza had been sitting under the lights since 6:30, but they had to run the cheezy bread. Finally at 7:00, (yes we have been standing there this whole time, watching and waiting)....we were told, "oh we have to run your cheezy bread" and then watched and listened to the 2 workers laugh and chuckle and whisper..........That was it. We asked how the heck can they conduct business like this, and the manager said sarcastically, "Thank you", which in turned fueled the spastic laughter of the workers.

Apparently he had watched the "thank you" commercial where a person thinks by saying thank you, a person can say and do anything and all is okay. It probably would work for those under the influence. We were not. We suggested that the pizza should be a freebie, as we were going to have to heat it up. We would have told them to "keep it" but it wasn't even for us, but 2 family members at home who had been waiting to eat. By this time, it's close to 7:15pm. Bottom line, a cold pizza, no cheezy bread and now no more Papa Johns. (By the way-A worker from Advance Auto Parts came in to retrieve their pizzas, and the workers couldn't find, and so this person left mad and with nothing)...... There are 2 local pizza places, run by independents, and even tho they are a bit more money wise, they have decent food, always get high marks from health Dept, and care about their customers. They will be getting our business. We are done with the Pizza Mills.

First of all, are you sure you were at a Papa Johns, as we do not have a product called "cheezy bread" I think your complaint may be about another company. However, if you do mean that you had ordered "cheese stix" your complaint may be valid. As a driver at Papa Johns, at times I am ashamed of the service provided, but at other times I see beligerent customers who just want to vent frustrations and believe that food service workers are inferior people, and treat them as such. It sounds as if you legitimately were just trying to get your food in a prompt manner. If this was a corporate store, you may ask for the name of the GM (general manager of that store) or the DO (director of operations for the area.) They should be able to provide you with contact information. Also, you may email the web site www.papajohns.com. I have seen many complaints in this forum that there is no reply from the web site, but believe me, the GM and DO definitely hear about all complaints related to them, and normally go out of their way to resolve them. Always remember though, that the employees are people too, and if you are "smart alleck" with them, they will probably respond in the same manner. Additionally, I am not sure what the "thank you" commercial is that you refer to, but it sounds as if the mananger (or assistant) was trying to do his best to be polite and resolve the problem. If this happens again to anybody reading this, demand that the ENTIRE order be remade so that it's hot! But also remember that the managers are people too, and treat them with respect, and keep in mind that we do have several 'rip off artists' that we encounter each day, and have to sort them out from the true complaints in which we genuinely do mess up!
