We were a victim of Berkshire Financial Solutions, and the following administrators involved:

Law offices of Michael Mella, esq.

Law offices of James H. Leighton, esq.

Primary contact Monty Hebert and Ronald Hebert

President Morris Girnun

Adriana Burrattini - principal

Angela Wilno - Account manager

I will save you the trouble and let you look up Berkshire Financial Solutions yourselves, to see that this debt consolidation company took customers payments and never sent the payments to the creditors. Thousands of dollars later, and not one dollar went to the creditors. Berkshire Financial Solutions have closed their doors prior to any litigation against them and not a single person who worked there can be found anymore. Not a single dollar that thousands of customers sent in had gone to creditors. Now, five to seven years later, we see that PARAGON WAY, has purchased the debts from somewhere, and are sending out letters saying we owe the money. Sorry guys, I paid Berkshire to fulfill their contractual obligations. James Leightons name is on the front of my contract with Berkshire, and interestingly enough, he was chief arbitrator for the Southwestern Florida Better Business Bureau.

If you plan on cheating people, might as well cover all the bases right?

So, here we are with this collection letter from Paragon way, insisting we send a check to a P.O. box. HOW can they purchase debts with such obvious fraudulence associated? These people at Berkshire have gotten away scott-free, shut down the business, and ran and hid with everyone's money. Now we are additionally responsible to Paragon way for the debt? This whole system is so completely criminal and outright fraudlent, yet we as the consumer have no recourse whatsoever. Send certified mail letters to everyone? That might help, but I would rather see the people listed at the top of this page impaled on a stake on the outskirts of Boca Raton.

The whole state of Florida is scam-central. If you do business with anyone or anything in Florida, you're 99.9% sure to be doing business with crooks.

We made the payments to Berkshire, Berkshire took the money and left town. So whose responsible? I dont really care anymore. I will not be sending anything. Just remember, George W. Bush's biggest campaign contributor was MBNA, the same MBNA that tripled their credit card interest rates three months before selling out to Bank of America. So the whole credit industry is a scam and your FICA score is a serious joke.
