I purchased a month to month membership at French Rivearia Spa. After about a year I could no longer afford it. When my payment was returned to Paramonut the company that bills for French Rivearia they called me. I told them to cancel the account, and I'd send them what I owed them, as soon as I could. The next week they attempted to debit my checking account again it bounced. When I called them they said I had to send them an email to cancel. After I sent the email they tried to debit my checking account again. I'm now holding a letter from Paramount stating that the only way my account can be cancelled is if I pay them $187.00. This was month to month no contract. Even though I spoke to them and emailed them they continue to bill me on a monthly basis. This is with out a doubt a form of extortion.
