Can we say price gouging?! Went in to check out the Ioniq at Parkway Hyundai in Valencia and found it marked up 13k on top of MSRP of 55k (20%+). Took over an hour of wasted discussion and promises from the sales guy only to be told they wouldn't budge on price.
Total waste of time dealing with a dishonest sales team taking advantage. Hyundai should be ashamed allowing unscrupulous price gouging. This is corporate greed taking advantage of consumers.

Yikes you're a nasty one. Thanks for the comment but we were able to secure a deal on a car elsewhere. The point of the post is that they wasted my valuable time.

Anyone who’s opened a newspaper over the past two years is aware of the limited supply of new vehicles due to a microchip shortage. You shouldn’t expect a merchant to negotiate a lower price when they have more customers than available products.
Perhaps you forgot the basic principles of supply and demand that you learned in fifth-grade social studies.
