Overall I have had very good service from Parts Express. What appeared to be laundering of feedback led to my filing of the ripp off report. On two occassions feedback on an item that I did not highly was removed.
After compianing about this, a helpful service representative reached out to me and said that they outsource the feedback monitoring, she was able to find my feedback and put it back on the site.
The terms of feedback were fairly stright forward and I had clearly not violated them. To avoid reports like this in the future, it would be hlepful to police the company that monitors your feedback and ensure they are not stacking the deck on your behalf or better still monitor it yourself in house and if it fits your feedback guidelines do not mess with it.

I see that in your rebuttal here that you reference your feedback system as being fair and ethical.
Question, is it your escertion that you do not delete nagative feedback to ensure that your products recieve high marks?
If you say you don't I would question your ethics there because that would appear to be a lie since you have deleted mine.
If you do delete qualified and fair negative feedback, how is that ethical?

Parts Express is not nor has been under investigation for any wrong doing in our operation. We are a global distributor, located in southwest
Parts Express hosts Tech Talk, a long-time and popular forum created for audio enthusiasts to exchange information, ideas, and post questions within the audio community. While employees and management do not participate in forum discussions, we do moderate in order to assure our members may participate in a respectful, productive, helpful, manner. In the rare event forum conduct Terms and Conditions are not met, a member post may be removed and to a greater length, membership may be revoked.
Parts Express core management team is comprised of a wide age-range and includes multiple, tenured females. The Tech Talk forum on the other hand is assumed to be mostly male (of all ages) since in generalized terms, audio is male fan based. We do not require a male or female profile in order to register membership nor does registration require the disclosure of age, race, religion, or nationality. I extend a genuine apology in the event any forum member may have offended the author and hope for an opportunity to discuss any cause of concern.

This rebuttal is not intended to be argumentative however; I'm responding FACTUALLY to the above post which appears to be irrational and nonsensical. I've dealt with Parts Express many times and frequently receive both e-mail and paper flyers. You've made several statements that have no evidence of truth such as "Currently under investigation for violating at least 3 constitutional aspects unheard of these days. " What does that even mean? No, they are not "currently under investigation" and they are not a "good 'ole boy network." Parts Express (or any other website, for that matter) has their own forums provided a service to their customers and as such are privately maintained and problematic posters are dealt with as they see fit. Let me provide some reasons why Parts Express in my experience and opinion is good to above average: 1. Many component parts prices are lower than many retail stores, if you can even find the parts. 2. They often run closeout specials on project & speaker parts, with some going for <$10, and are excellent buys. 3. Customers are encouraged to post product reviews and/or submit project ideas which are published. 4. Technical specifications are clearly provided with many items. 5. Quality of the items has been very good, and customer service has been great. In one occasion I posted a review of an item (vaccum tube socket) saying I was dissatisfied, and a rep. when through their records just to find my name, call me, and make sure the problem was corrected! NICE! I am not an employee simply a satisfied customer.
