I first encountered this company, Dealpass, Passport to fun, At home rewards and 24 protect plus on the internet on July 1, 2006.

I called Dealpass. Dealpass seems to be the front name for all of their companies. The same Post Office Box is used for all of them. Dealpass was offering a list of forclosure real estate properties in my area that they would send to me a list for free for the first 30 days. They asked me if I wanted to join any of their other membership clubs to get big discounts. I said NO. They kept on insisting, but I said NO, NO, NO over and over again. Then they wanted a credit card number. I asked why? They said for the first forclosure list there is a $1.95 charge for shipping. I reluctantly gave them a number to my American Express Card.

A few days later I recieved a letter congadulating me for joining Passport to Fund, At Home Rewards and 24 protect plus. none of these companies did I ever join and become a member. So I called them on the phone numbers (3) on their letter and canceled any and all memberships. I asked for a cancelation confirmation number from each of them. They each said they don't give out any cancelation numbers. I then becme a little suspicious.

A week later I received three color brochires, congrqatulating me for my membership in each club. Each brochure states that I will be billed monthly for $149.00 by them by taking funds out of my account with American Express.

I immediately contacted them on their web site and sent them a contact message ( they don't give a e-mail address) and wrote that they were supposed to cancel any and all memberships in Passport to Fun, Athome rewards and 24 Protect Plus and any other clubs they have me listed as a member.I made a copy of my cancelation via the internet.

The next thing I did was to contact American Express and cancel my card. American express said they would do that immeditatly and that the company Dealpass had already taked out the $1.95. I explained the problem to American Exprees and the said they would return my $1.95 and cancel my card. I thanked them.

I know if I never canceled my card those crooks would be robbing my American Exprees acount each month for $149.00.

I hope those crooks sue me, I will gladly file a cross complaint against them for fraud with punitive damages, I have all the printed records that shows them to be crooks.
