Church Commercial Building Services 129 Galaxie Place, Spartanburg, South Carolina owned by Robert Aaron & Patricia Jackson had a Website in July 0f 2007. They responded to our search for a contractor stating that they could complete the restoration and addition to our 100-year-old-church in Bethesda, Maryland which was almost destroyed in a fire on Ash Wednesday. Aaron Jackson talked with our Senior Trustee and promised by email as well as contract and package through the mail that he would complete this restoration and additional building by 12/07 if we send him $18,000 to pay for the civil engineer to draw up the plans and to start the process. He called us on a daily basis until he received the money and signed contract. When he did not show at the site, we called. He did not respond to our telephone call. We left messages that this was God's money received in donations from the community and tithes and offerrings. This was one third of the total money in our small church of 20 people's treasure. His wife, Patricia called us and told us that she had received and deposited the money. She said her husband was sick and had lost his mind. We told her that we needed the money back if he was not able to do the work on at least six ocassions. She always said that she would have him call us. Now, January 0f 2008, we learn that they are scam artist and both have refused to discuss returning the money to us. In fact we have not been able to speak to or hear one word from this company since they received the money. Our church is in desparate need to have this money returned. We are having church at Adat Shalom Sancturary in two of their back rooms. We need to return to our church built by Sara Gibson a freed slave, in 1898. A place where she dedicated to the Glory of God for protecting her as she swam the Potomac River with her two children holding on to a log to freedom at a Quaker's home in Marylarnd. This is where she worked for seven years to get money to buy this land. She is buried right behind the Church. This church was also used as a school site for African American children in the 50's when there was no school for African American children in Montgomery County. Now it is standing as an eye sore to the community while the Jacksons spend the sacraficial offerring for their pleasure. Can you help us get our money back from the Jackson's? We can not afford a lawyer.

Rebuttal to First Agape Church Report # 303353

#4REBUTTAL Individual responds

Sat, February 02, 2008

I happened upon the Report placed by First Agape Church of Bethesda, MD, 1/25/2008. They stated that I owned the Church Commercial Building Services business in July, 2007 with Robert Jackson. I did not own this business, or have a part in the business, or have knowledge of the details of the operations, or details of the client files. I never contacted them during that period of time for any reason. The first time I spoke with anyone was in September 2007 when Robert Jackson was not home or in his office, because he told me that he was on the road visiting clients. Mr. Connor left a message on Robert Jackson's voicemail, stating that he had a few questions. I checked the messages because Robert had been gone for quite a few days, and I wanted to see if he had left a message on his line as to where he ws. I called Mr. Connor from my phone (this is how he got my phone number, from his caller ID), and told him that Robert was out of town, and that I would pass the message along. I left a message on Robert's cell phone. Since I did not get a call back from Robert, I called Mr. Connor and asked if he received a call back from Robert Jackson, and he stated that he had not gotten a call back, that he was calling because the Pastor asked him to, but he already spoke with Robert a while back and he had the answer. He also stated that he was trying to get the Church to send money. I responsed to him, that I was not calling about any money, I wanted to know if he got a call from Robert. Robert arrived back a few weeks later. I got a call from Mr. Connor, he left a message on my phone for me to call him. I retrieved the message remotely since I was not in my office. I own my own company. I called him back from my cell phone (this is how he got my cell phone number, from caller ID), and he asked if the check had arrived. I told him yes it did, (because I saw it on the counter). I never told Mr. Connor that I deposited the check, because I did not deposit it. I did not have access to Robert Jackson's business account. The next call I received on my phone ws from Pastor Bankhead, and he asked if the project was going to be finished by December 2007. I told him that I did not have that answer because that was Robert's business and I did not want to give him any wrong answers. I told him that he would need to speak with Robert Jackson about that and I would give him the message to call him. He stated that he understood and the call ended. I relayed that message to Robert. On the evening of November 18, 2007, Robert Jackson told me that he was going to Maryland for a meeting and he left. I did not hear anymore from Robert. The next call I recieved was from Mr. Connor, that Robert had called the Pastor and they were confused by the call. I asked him if they had met with Robert and he said no. I gave him Robert's cell phone number, because he stated that the number he had for him ws not working. I contacted Robert's physician to ask if he had been in the see her or if he had called her. She gave me the details of his last visit. I spoke with Pastor Bankhead and Mr. Connor and notified them of some of what the physician had stated about his illness, and explained that I had not heard from him. Several called went on between the us, and I always answered my phone calls from them and I let them know that I had not heard from him. I also re-explained that I was not involved with the business affairs between them and Robert Jackson. I never avoid them. I have not heard from anyone at First Agape Church since December, 2007. It is unfair for First Agape Church to involve me in this business matter, that does not include me, and which I am not responsible for. I did not sign a contract nor received a check from them. They included my name because they could not get in touch with Robert Jackson. Finally, I am not responsible for any business or personal affairs of Robert Jackson. I have for a while, separated myself from Robert Jackson in every way.
