Patricia Wilson - Etex Equine Sold me a 5 year old that turned out to be 2 instead Avinger Texas
I keep seeing reports about Patricia Wilson on here. When I bought my guy he was supposed to be a well broke ridden in parades and sorted with. He was supposed to be 5 years old "Patricia said she had had him since he was born and new his age " I had 3 different vets check him out since he was very ill when he arrived and the coggins papers showed he had a fever the day he was tested.
All my vets laughed when I told them his supposed age I had looked at his teeth and I knew he was not 5 and yes I was right he was maybe 2 1/2 at the time of purchase. I spent about 300 dollars on vet bills since he infected my other horse that i had at home. When he was delivered he was supposed to have pictures of his Dam and Sire and a few other papers but the only one i recieved was his coggins.
When I emailed and called Patricia all i recieved was the message machine. I did recieve 1 pick of the mother then about 2 months later after leaving messages and emails I got another pic of the Dam and one of the sire a totally different mare this time hehhe. All I wanted was their names since I was registering with IBHA so I could maybe include those in the papers ..
Well I can tell you I will never buy another horse on line even though at least my horse has turned out great with alot of work (thank gosh I have trained before) but I paid too much for him for no papers and no training.. I got lucky since he was supposed to be in her words (this is taken from an email i recieved)""He is 15h and has great feet.. He has been shown in open shows, has been used at the ranch has has been roping and sorting.
IF he is unsuitable we do a split shipping and have him returned for a refund. "" Well he is right now full grown 14.2 and yes he has good feet hehhe. Oh well after reading some of these I feel really lucky to have recieved a young horse that was calm and greenbroke. I even looked online trying to find anything out about Patricia Wilson and found nothing so after making a blog and trying to get the word out I am finding alot about her now YIKES hopefully everyone will find these and stop buying from her..
