Complaint Review: Patrick Brady - Crescent City California

Patrick Brady (CDCR Inmate #J89194) is a scammer currently housed in California's notorious Pelican Bay State Prison. He's even dangerous from behind bars. He has scammed several women across the U.S., Canada, and Ireland with his sad self-serving tales and fake declarations of love. 

He has penpal advertisements on multiple websites including writeaprisoner.com. He has artwork and poetry posted there that other inmates did for him. Do not fall for his lies and his baloney. He has a baby mama and an 18 year old son that he never bothers to tell any of his penpals about. He manipulates his baby mama into doing things for him including sending money. But he claims he is single to the rest of the world as he declares his love to multiple women and gets them to do things for him including sending money, books, contacting his criminal street gang associates in Southern California, contacting his trashy sisters (who are also criminals), and paying a lot of money for his useless appeals. He writes the same love letters to all the women. 

He has filed frivolous lawsuits against prison officials (wasting everyone's time). He was originally at Corcoran Prison, but he was such a violent and crazy inmate that he got shipped off to Pelican Bay last year. He is also a prison gang member. He lies about his crimes. He makes himself sound all sad, pathetic, lonely, and misunderstood, but he is a 9 time convicted armed robber, burglar, and sexual predator. He robbed people at ATMs and kidnapped them, did home invasions, carjacking, and sexual assault. He says he's in for gun possession, but that's only a small (and minor) piece of the story. He never mentions the fact that he beat and robbed and raped innocent people and was a career criminal who never held down a normal job (not even once in his life). His own mother doesn't even want to have anything to do with him. Patrick Brady is a California three-striker criminal. He is as dangerous as they come. 

He said he was going to marry my mother who is a well meaning Christian with a too big heart. They wrote for two years and she moved closer to the prison to be near him! But at the same time he also told another lady that she had his heart and soul forever and was going to marry her. He told the same thing to another lady and yet another lady!!! In his internet pen pal profiles, he doesn't ask for money upfront. But as he gets to know you and starts to woo you with his sad stories and love letters, he begins to ask you for all kinds of favors. When I uncovered his con, I wrote to him and confronted him about it. He proceeded to get his people on the outside to try to scare me and my mother. 

Don't help him with his con games! Don't put the Correctional Officers at the prison in a position where they can be harmed by this guy. Don't listen to his hunger strike B.S. He is extremely well cared for given how he continues to victimize people. He has been in jail since 1995 and is desperately trying to get out. There is a d**n good reason he has been in prison for 18 years. It's because he is a vile predator. In my investigation, I recently spoke to one of his victims from back in 1995 whose life was shattered by him. She was devastated to know about the continuing criminal activity he is continuing to conduct from behind bars. She broke down in tears when she heard what happened to my mother and several other women. 

Patrick Brady is a liar, cheat, and a fraud. He obviously has learned nothing from his 18 years behind bars except how to perfect the art of stealing. Warning: If you are an older lady who is single and lonely, you are especially vulnerable. Stay away from this piece of scum! If this report helps just one person out there, it will have been worth my mother's horrible experience.
