Avoid Patty Ko--Lawyer with Bishop & McKenzie. Nightmare experience. Her sole concern is maximizing her billable hours. This calculated, ineffective work style instantly frittered away my $2K retainer by way of several brief emails and 10-second voicemails/phone tag, and at best--made minimal progress on my legal matter. I feel her billing practices are also highly unethical, based on my experience, and I felt robbed---legally.
Be very aware and ensure you choose your counsel extremely carefully or you will have the same regrets.
