PAYPAL Limits my Account, Does not provide me with why or act like they even care, Internet
Paypal has limited my account and will not tell me why. I have taken all the necessary steps to provide them with the documentation that they asked for to no avail. Trying to reach a live person is difficult and I'm being told 3 differenent things by different people. This is a business account, they have tied up nearly 1000.00 of our money.
Now I don't trust them and refuse to every use them again, they take control over your money and who is to say if I'll ever get it back.

But you will get your money, that is for sure.
I have been using paypal for years for my side business which I do out of my home, and overall it has been a very good service. Once in a while, especially at first I would not understand why I would be denied access to MY money when I wanted it, or was limited but after reading the terms a few times over, I do understand.
However, as you stated, they do have some "control" over your money when you are enrolled. I suggest you go to their website and read the confusing terms..you will need some time but it will explain about the limits. The only way to get more money (or all) then the limits allow, is to close the paypal account. Just their rules for their reasons.
The good thing about paypal is that it protects the consumer from being ripped off. Now the fact that the protection leans towards the consumer is a doubled edge sword so to speak. On the one hand, you may not have much recourse if you are a seller and a buyer has an issue. But, on the other hand..the consumers feel safe using it for purchases. With my ebay business I get world wide exposure and marketing for a fraction of what it would cost otherwise..and a safe way to accept payment from anywhere in the world.
Granted, I have to pay ebay a fee to list, a fee when sold, shipping and a paypal fee, but when you look at the cost of doing business nation and worldwide without ebay and paypal (which if you didn't know are one in the same), it is the only possible way to afford it these days.
