Sorry, I was in a very bitter mood yesterday and was taking things personally. Rough month. I disagree with the way paypal handled the PS3's. I also think they should have informed the sellers that they would be holding funds. I know prior to this, Paypal was in a lawsuit for holding peoples money for whatever reasons. But thank you for your help and I wish you the merriest holiday season! :) (and sorry again I took your comment so personally)

I'm sorry, I never meant to give you the impression that I thought you were a lowlife or anything else. Please understand that in a lot of cases a complaint is posted in anticipation of a counter complaint, so the more information that you provide, the better able everyone is to determine what's up. With good feedback and a name to cross check, this is usually all it takes (read some of the other posts on ebay.... you'll understand what I'm trying to say.) Glad to hear that your account was put back into use. Talk on the street is that paypal decided to 'freeze' accounts that were associated with PS3 sales until those sales were confirmed. Due to the high volume of fraud this time of year, it may have been a good idea, but to do so without informing any of the interested parties of their intent to institute this policy was, at the very minimum, poor business practice. As a seller, you had the right to know that the funds would be held, and given this information, may have actually been a selling point (from a safety standing) for the systems themselves. If consumer protection was the goal, this is admirable on the part of paypal, however the method that was chosen to carry it out was pathetically mis-directed. Good Luck Dan, and I hope that you have a happy, warm, Holiday season!

I had many positive remarks and everything else I have sold got to the buyers fine. And 3 weeeks ago I could afford to purchase the PS3's fine. Normal people have unplanned things happen all of the time. I had to fork out a large amount of money to fix my car, and some unexpected doctors bills. Please do not act like I am a low life because I can't afford rent for one month. I do not know why paypal did not accept the ups delivery confirmation. I tried to contact them several times on why they would not accept it but I never recieved a response. And after filing a few complaints yesterday my account was magically fixed and as of today my account is not locked anymore.

First, what reason did paypal give you for freezing your account? Do you have other sales outstanding? Second, how did you afford to purchase 2 PS3's to sell if you can't afford food and rent? Something isn't right here. You didn't list your seller name or info to show that you had these to sell, or that you had rec'd feedback for the sales. If you rec'd delivery confirmation from UPS, why wouldn't paypal accept this? Although I know that paypal and ebay can be difficult to work with, it's normally the buyer that is the one behind the 8 ball in a transaction. We need more information in this case to decide what is truly going on. Looking forward to your update.
