The BBB or any other entity in this country will not be able to help you. These types of scams are based offshore and are beyond the reach of them. They normally operate out of one of the old Soviet Union states. Everything is bogus about them including the contact phone number and the phony Microsoft logo.
The trick here is to turn off the computer the moment the pop up appears. Up until this point it is not malware or a virus until you click to download something. That's why your anti virus does not detect it. Don't click on anything else but TURN OFF COMPUTER. When restarted the computer should be clear. This has happened to me on three occasions and I have been able to get out of the situation. Of course there might be variations of the malware/virus.
Just get familiar with your own anti virus and see how the warnings look. Don't respond to anything else that does not look like it.
