PCCare247 RIPOFF N TAKEN Internet, Internet
Trying to contact Macfee and found a phone number that said it was macfee help 24/7.I called and told them my issue that I coudnt get Macfee back on my computer and forgot password as well. They came across to me as if they were Macfee and asked if I could let them on my computer.Thinking it was them I said yes, once on they told me I was hacked and showd me all sorts of forgein IP addresses. I was frighten and they knew that , they started running a program and then told me after running it that thos woud get rid of the hacker and then told me that it was to cost me $360.00. While they were running something ?? I had no money, Im unemployed but told me I need to get it. Sent me a Westernunion form and THEY wanted to fill it all out with credit card numebr and all the passwords. I said No No. they kept trying to change the password I put in and i told them I wasnt going to pay if I dont get to type in password. After all that and they got their money they told me it would take a couple of hrs to fix and to leave me mt computer password,I said no way.I woud stay with computer.
I watched what they did and all they did was run CCleaner that was on my computer and put something on my registary. Im currently trying to find that. What an Evil company to charge so much for running CCleaner and then telling me its all clean now ..I hope that anyone that reads this wil never never think of using this rip off company. Now I am changing all my bank accts and credit cards and westen union info.I dont trust them at all.i hope this wil help someone in the future
