Complaint Review: Peace of Mind Marie Dimaio - Safety Harbor Florida

I started seeing Marie for Acne. I dealt and trusted her even when she made my face EXTREMELY worse than it was. I am now seeing another esthetician who is PHENOMENAL and helping heal my face from all the scarring she caused me. I’m not sure if Marie was doing it on purpose but what I do know is she thinks she knows everything and does NOT listen to her clients preferences. I am a licensed Estherician myself. I started seeing her because people in community told me how good she was. I found out soon after that she was very money hungry, poses information to get you to buy her packages, very unfairly. But she is also very fake and seems like she really cares about you. So it’s hard to know who she truly is inside. Marie owes me $1100! She will not give me money back. She has not rendered services for this package bought after I told her my sister wS diagnosed with Leukemia and I could no longer continue her services. She made me buy it two weeks before I ever got a service! She also canceled on me several times stating family emergency and would tell me she could get me in for a 30 min facial as a favor when she would take "vacation” often..

Well the package I paid for was 12 , 1 hour facial at $100 a piece. So I paid her upfront $1200. She says she will do me "a favor” and fit me in for 30 min but I still need to pay her $100 our of the $1200 ... BS indicator... Is she insane? She also would leave my face looking HORRIBLE some days I would literally cry. When I started seeing my new lady! She has my face cleared up SO much in just 3-4 treatments it’s incredible. Marie told me I would need a year of services!! I’m sorry a year! Marie did not continue to help my face because once an hour was up she just sent me on my way no matter how bad I looked . I really need two hours from the getup! She spread bacteria on my face as she is uninformed on how to use the machine effectively. She originally sold me on this decadent facial where my skin looked amazing and then stopped doing half of it. We got into it but I decided to continue with her because she told me I couldn’t have my money back and that I actually OWED her money because her facials individually are $300-400 . For a total of ONE hour. $300-400?!! Are we in the Holly wood hills?! I can promise you this is laughable.

Do your research and look because the good Eggs are out there and have integrity and are not in it for ripping people off but to actually heal and help skin. Long story short she lied to my face several times talking behind my back and hook line and sunk me into buying another package. She was this angel all of sudden doing everything I asked. Meanwhile she was playing the cards between me and my other esthetician lying to both of us trying to find out each on the other one. Super malicious, very vindictive. My other esthetician eventually blocked her because her Bs barometer went off and couldn’t deal with Marie crazy unfair unloyal behavior towards her clients. I am a very loyal long term client . Everyone that knows me knows I am true and honest person . I would never hold someone’s money ever! If I did not align with someone I would just give them their money back! This lady is bad news. She doesn’t believe she is this way she believe she is justified in running her business this way. I plan on running a file suit against her as she owes me my money back for services not yet rendered and how heartless can you be as a person when someone tells you her sister could be dying of cancer and you have to leave to go take care of her? I’m sorry but our policy is our policy?! This lady is crooked I am warning you . And others that see this side of her will know it to. There are other cases like mine too! A friend of mine knows Marie who is also in the business and had similar awkward experience with her asking my friend who is a massage therapist and loyal client up front. What is this paying up front business about?? Red flag!! It’s hard to see through her facade. And it’s also very hard to question her. She seems so confident and that she is knowledgeable. But she is not. She is closed off from learning she does not doing continuing education. When you try to talk to her about other procedures and products she get defensive. It’s very weird and a very strange energy . I am someone who sees the good in people so I tried to look past it but now I see there is a reason this happened and I must let others know who she truly is.
