PNC Merchant Services PNC Merchant Are Not Honest About The Contracts Be careful before signing Anything!!! Nationwide Nationwide
Went to PNC Bank to open a business account and get Merchant service. I was told if I get the merchant service I would receive $ 250.00 for signing with them, well never received the money. But the bigger issue is, I sat down with the PNC Merchant sales guy by the end of the meeting I was trying to read over the contract and he insists that there was no need to read it and to just initial where I had to. However he failed to tell me I was being locked into a 48 month contract that I could not cancel. Also I would be charged if I didn't use it and I would only received the 250.00 once I start using the merchant service and it could take up to sixty days. They tell you want you want to hear so you can sign the contract and be stuck. I was told the money would be in my account in a few days my business account kept being over draft because of a fee I was not told about. I called the processing company to cancel they told me I couldn't I had to send them something in writing and I would have to pay the term of the lease witch was the 48 months. And also what ever fee the company would charge itself. I am beyond pissed I haven't started doing anything with the business and PNC has put me in a bad spot. Oh did I mention that I recieved equipment that's for a store front not the equipment we discussed. Watch them they tell you what you want to hear so you can sign a be stuck then I found another company who used them and they got a lawyer so this has not just happened to me it's happened to others as well.
