Penn Foster College Online BEWARE!!!! Scottsdale, Arizona
I am completely disgusted with this school. Don't waste your time and money! Do research and chose a better school! I enrolled in an Accounting course last summer and I have nothing good to say.
I have called the Student service center many times for help and have not received ANY help from the "instructors." When I failed one of the tests in the Financial Accounting book I called because I was (and still am) certain that several of my answers were in fact the correct answers and the "instructor" told me that if I have a question about the test or the book to call before I took the test. Before the next test I called to get help and they said that they couldn't help because I was working on a test. ??? The only way they would help me is if I failed the test a second time.
At that point the "instructor" told me that perhaps I should not be taking this course if I didn't undertand... I did ask what qualifications they possesed to instruct me with the material and they admitted to me that they did in fact NOT have a degree in Accounting.
I think that the actual text books they use are great books but the study guides,the tests and the "instructors" are seriously flawed. I am planning on transferring credit to a reputable school.
