For the record... THE DEBT COLLECTORS PROBABLY WOULDNT HAVE BEEN NEARLY AS RUDE TO YOU IF YOU HAD ANSWERED THE PHONE THE FIRST 100 TIMES THEY CALLED YOU BUT THEY PROBABLY HAD TO GO THOUGH ALL THE TROUBLE OF SKIP TRACING YOU AND HUNTING YOU DOWN... YOU DIDNT CALL THEM TO PAY YOUR BILL WE HAD TO HUNT YOU. IF YOU HAD PAID YOUR BILL BACK WHEN YOU MADE YOUR PURCHASE THIS NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED... THATS OUR JOB WE'RE HUNTERS BUT PEOPLE TOO MAYBE NEXT TIME YOU DECIDE TO FINANCE SOMETHING ON YOUR CREDIT YOU'LL DECIDE TO MAKE YOUR PYMNTS LIKE A GOOD PERSON WITH A CONSCIENCE INSTEAD OF HAVING TO TALK TO ONE OF US DEBT COLLECTORS... AND LETS TALK ABOUT "shady, dishonest, entirely rude, and not helpful" A DIRECT QUOTE FROM YOUR REPORT... YOUR THE ONE WHO FINANCED A PRODUCT AND SIGNED A CONTRACT WITH THE INTENTION OF NOT PAYING OR HONORING SAID CONTRACT FOR YEARS TO COME... NOW WHOSE SHADY DISHONEST RUDE AND UNHELPFUL PEOPLE LIKE YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT ADD TO OUR ECONOMIC HARDSHIP WITH NO REGARD FOR ANYONE BUT THEMSELVES BE HAPPY YOUR NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR A 10/99 ON THE PART OF YOUR BALANCE YOU DIDNT HAVE TO PAY U WOULDVE HAD TO PAY TAXES ON IT AS EARNED INCOME... GETING SOMETHING FOR NOTHING STILL COSTS SOMEONE MONEY... AND YOUR COLLECTOR DIDNT HAVE TO SETTLE THAT ACCOUNT WITH YOU THEY DID THAT OUT OF THE KINDNESS OF THIER HEART TO HELP YOU GET YOUR IRRESPONSIBLE BUTT OUT OF DEBT... LETS HOPE YOU TEACH YOUR CHILDREN BETTER SO THEY DONT GET STUCK IN AN ECONOMIC DEPRESSION WHEN THEY'RE YOUR AGE LIKE YOU!

THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED - PERIOD. When you first heard from them your first moves should have been to Send them a debt validation demand Contact the original creditor and ask them if they turned over the account to a collection agency. From the sounds of it - probably not - but you chose to do the wrong things - without using the internet to find out the correct way to handle it. go to www.budhibbs.com ASAP and get some good solid advice that can help you

I would report this agency to the BBB and buddhibbs. I have seen a list of collecion agencies to avoid I have notice that a couple got closed down. I would write a certified letter demanding a copy of that payment was made . You also might want to add this collection agency to buddhibbs as well
