Peoples credit first is a ripoff. Tampa, Florida
I recieved an "Acceptance Certificate" from Peoples Credit First recently and found it to be quite an interesting offer. Being a former employee for a very well known and honest credit card company I have extensive knowledge on this subject matter.
I would like to share some information with my fellow credit users; first of all, when a company sends an approved card to you that you have never applied for and shows no interest in knowing your credit history, be ware. They are almost definately interested in taking advantage of you.
If the document they send does not provide any Terms and Agreements or Disclosures regarding their product do some research. Look up their website or even better, look for them on this website.
If you find that they are bogus, you have every right to call them and tell them to take you off of their mailing list. I'm sure you have heard it before, but if the offer looks too good to be true, it is.
Credit Card companies are not a business that gives people with poor credit money. If that were the case they certainly wouldn't be giving it away at $5000.00 a customer. I hope this information is useful to those who are smart enough to check out this site. It's an excellent resource to the honest consumer. Good luck
