pep boys does it again another ripp off story *REBUTTAL *Consumer Suggestion
I took my car to pep boys of pottstown pa and they gave me a quote of 288.98 for the replacement of my front struts and alignment. i dropped the car off at 8:00 am and when i called at 3:00 pm i was told they put the wrong parts on my vehicle and it would be another 4 hrs till it was ready. it is now the next day and its still not ready and i lost 2 days of work now and had to pay for a doc appt that i couldnt make cause i still dont have a car! and now they call me and tell me its 598.00 to pick up my car. now i have to pay for there mistake and the labor to redo there mistake that is totally WRONG

More over...you definately need to see the bill and have broken down for you. Is this an older vehicle? Sound very strange to me that it is double the cost you were quoted. Talk to a manager immediately!!
