This company is a scam, and has been doing this for years. If you have not already, contact the BBB in your home state, and the BBB in NY. Unfortunately, this will go nowhere as the BBB has no regulatory control, and is only a mediator. That does not, however, mean that this information shouldn't be on file against them.
I would also suggest you contact the Attorney Generals office for your state as well as NY, and also contact the FBI's IC3 division (Internet Crime). These transactions are done over the internet and cross state lines, and fall under the FBI's jurisdiction. The more complaints they get, the more willing they will be to investigate Rick and his business criminally. The faster we can get them investigated, the better.
It will take time, and they make it difficult in the hopes that you give up. That is the only way they make money, because they offer no legitimate product. Do not give up, do not let them win!
