i got in contact with a lady, selling a congo african grey parrot. we spoke for 2-3 days, so she seemed legit enough. I went ahead with the purchase of this bird. She had put me in contact with a certain shipping company, witch gave me some prices and explained what and when the bird would be shipped to me. As the next few days went on there were more and more unexpected expences that occured, i was told that a portion of these expenses would be refunded to me when the bird was to be delivered. they asked for a copy of my id for delivery purposes so my refundable money in check form would be delivered to the right person. as now being the 5ifth day after the bird was supose to be delivered to me, i phoned this company and was asking alot of questions about the situation. The person on the phone couldn't give any info to me except a bunch of misdirected lies and always changing their story of what had possibly gone wrong. after contacting the original seller of the bird, she told me she was concerned for the welfare of her bird, and has also been in contact with the shippers. So as i new i had been played for my money I went back on line looking up adds for other parrots of the same kind just to see what i found, and to my suprise, her add was back up selling the same bird that i had almost just purchased. so i got in contact with her and asked about it, and was told that she got her bird back and was reselling it to someone else. i advised her of why it would be a bad idea to do that. not to sat the least, but that was the last time i have heard from either the seller or this shipping company. and i'm out alot of money also.
