Chad Smith of Phoenix Blue Olde English Bulldogges. .

I purchased a pup from said breeder in July of 2008. The puppy, Blue Bentley, is registered with IOEBA.

Due to unresolved limping, which started at four months of age, the puppy received medical attention. After four separate professional medical opinions, it was concluded that the pup had elbow dysplasia, a congenital disorder. The disorder is one that, with arthroscopic surgery, can be corrected.

Upon delivering the news to the breeder, Chad Smith, he refused to comply with the Arizona law.

As dedicated Olde English dog owners, we chose to pursue the options afforded to us by the state of Arizona (where the dog lives and was purchased). This option allowed us to retain the dog and receive our purchase money back to be used strictly for veterinary bills.

After a hearing in Small Claims court of Arizona, the breeder, Chad Smith, was ordered to return the purchase money in full. See case link:

http://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/docket/JusticeCourtCases/caseInfo.asp?casenumber=CC2008-224564

It has been over six weeks since the verdict was declared, Chad Smith of Phoenix Blues has refused to follow the legal mandate and return our money. Instead, he has been spiteful and obstinate, using name calling to avoid his legal and ethical obligation.

My request is that you make others aware of his lack of course of action that is mandated by the state of Arizona and revoke his kennel registration until he pays his owned debt to us.

Sincerely,

Shorty

No one mentioned the internet! Breeder and buyer live in the same state! Please READ the reports (among other things). Is it possible to maybe go for garnishment?

DO NOT BUY PUPPIES AND DOGS OFF OF THE INTERNET! YOU NEED TO RESCUE PUPPIES FROM YOU LOCAL HUMANE SOCIETY. NOTHING WRONG WITH OLDER DOGS. THEY MAKE FABULOUS PETS AND YOU CAN BE SURE OF WHAT YOU ARE GETTING FOR REASONABLE PRICE! WHEN YOU BUY SIGHT UNSEEN YOU CAN FALL PREY TO THE CLASSIC NIGERIAN PET ADOPTION SCHEME OR GET SENT THE CULLS OF THE PUPPY MILL --- OR SICK PUPPIES YOU HAVE NO RECORD OF THEIR VACCINATIONS,ETC. do not buy dogs sight unseen off of the d**n internet! YOU ARE SETTING YOURSELF UP TO BE RIPPED OFF...AND YOU DESERVE IT. IF YOU HAVE TO BUY A PUPPY, BUY FROM A LOCAL BREEDER NOT SOME GUY HUNDREDS OF MILES AWAY. YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT BUYING FROM A PUPPY MILL. YOU WANT TO MAKE SURE TO SEE THE MOTHER AND THE FATHER. USE COMMON SENSE AND SAVE CENTS ( AND LOTS OF DOLLARS TOO) AND SHOP LOCAL AND $AVE!
