PhotoPoint disappearing with everybodies money..
hey..cheer up..I might be an idiot but lost 2000 photo's with my 2 paid accounts at PhotoPoint. I did not back them up because I felt that photo storage must be a little secure?
Imagine a place just disappearing with everybodies money? (and photo's) Not one word to anybody about anything. I'm sure they knew ahead of time if they were going under. Still collect money to the last date?
I'd bet Epson is as 'irked' as we all are. http://photo.epson.com/ http://www.epson.com/ They contracted with PhotoPoint to run THEIR free photo site.I'm sure they must have paid 'good money'. Epson seems as baffled as we simple consumers are. With no warning EPSON PHOTO goes down and when? --at Christmas time....
Theres also the photo section at http://www.collegeclub.com/ PhotoPoint left them dangling a month or so ago and won't even let all the 'kiddies' get their pictures back.(when the ability was there)
