I signed the contract with Pier Managment, for $800.00, which they said included photographs, tapes, acting lesson, whatever I needed. I was pressured into giving a $100.00 down, as a "consultation fee", with the promise that the work that they would find for me will pay towards that amount. They also promised that once the amount is is paid to about $400.00, they will take professional pictures of myself to help me find "better" jobs.

Also verbally, Laynes Sabatino told me that if any disagreement were to happen after the contract was signed , she did not want the inconvenience of a dispute, or lawsuit, that she will be happy to break the contract. I was sent to 2 castings, and also was sent to be part of a crowd at a private concert, which I was told that I will be paid for, in which I never saw a check. The only proof they have that that money was paid TO THEM, is a bogus invoice with $48.00, supossed to go towards my outstanding balance. That was in February.

I did not hear from them again for jobs until March, when I was in the hospital, and Tony (who I never met) called me from the agency saying that he needed some models to "entertain" some glentemen from Budweiser Co. For a moment it felt that I joined an escort service more than a talent agency. I had to decline the "job" for I was still in the hospital. From then on, they only called me every month to give them money for photograph that were never taken. Now, I received an invoice from the charging me $704.00 .

I called on 9/13/02 to talk to Ms. Sabatino, and was told that she no longer works there. In her place they put me through a woman named Valeria who refused to give her last name. I told her the situation that since they never called me back after March, for any jobs or castings or pictures, that I wanted out of their contract, for services were not rendered. She threaten me that if I did not pay the due amount that they will report me to the credit bureau and damage my credit. I tried to work it out, but they only referred me to a collections agency which now is charging me almost 1500.00

I never got any other jobs or casting from these people, nor I ever got pictures from them. I don't want any money back, I want out of this contract, and collection fees.
