PILATES NORTH PILATES NORTH RICHMOND HILL Horrible Instrutors, Dirty, Liars, Two Faced, Talk about Clients, Richmond Hill, Ontario Canada
Lisa Shklar owner and sister Rachel run a studio that advertises expert instruction which couldn't be further from the truth. The instructors are sooo poor that after 5 years of attending classes I decided that going to the gym would be more beneficial. Lisa has a horrible attitude and feels it neccessary to talk bad about other clients during her classes. She comes into class half the time late and repeats the same exercises over and over. There is no progression in her classes if anything the classes are re-gressive. Her staff are so weak that they often ask if its ok to teach certain exercises.
Lisa talks about her own personal problems during classes and her sister will join in on the conversation. If your not part of the "in crowd" then you are made to feel like you don't belong. She outwardly flirts with the young men that are at the studio which makes everyone feel uncomfortable. Lisa talks bad about other studios and instructors which makes her look insecure. Her sister rachel is rude and ignorant. She lies and will tell you classes are full when they are not even running.
She will bump you out of your spot to put in one of there favourite clients instead. They both have such mean aggressive personalities which makes going to the classes intolerable. I was a client for 5 years and left because of there poor instuction, there lack of professional behavour and the fact they choose to talk bad about clients all the time. I have never had a better workout since I left Pilates North and I like going to my classes now. And there equipment, grippers, and small equipment stink horribly. Stay Clear of This Studio

To whover reads the above report who knows Pilates North must be disgusted. Pilates North has been in business for over 13 years. As a resident of Richmond Hill I can tell you that this is a well respected company that has taught thousands of clients.
Check out their website pilatesnorth.com and look at the 45 or more REAL testimonials from high profile athletes to media personalities. Try and find another studio in the area that can produce the same? The TV appearances and the print media such as the Globe and Mail is proof enough that this Studio is a leader in its Industry. In addition to operating a very successful studio Pilates North contributes to various charities throughout the year. Again check out their website or Facebook page and you can find the proof of this.
As for the personal attacks on the owners I am guessing this is from a disgruntled contractor. Anyone who knows Lisa and Rachel personally can see the transparency of this report. Based on the tone and immaturity it is obvious that whoever REALLY authored it is coming from a place of insecurity, jealousy, or both. Basically a tactic reserved for uneducated bullies.
I am writing this for 2 reasons
1. I don't like liars
2. I don't like that the real Author fraudulently used the alias Evelyne So.
