PINK PLUMBER Company Rips Off the Elderly with outragious add=on pricing for septic tank pump outs. Smyrna Georgia
Called the Pink Plumber for a septic tank pump out advertised at $195.00
After digging up my back yard and un caping the tank they began to add on services and repairs adding up to a final bill of $4,443.14
I was advised that the line from the tank to drain field needed to be "hydra flushed" for $545. This entailed running a hose down the line and flushing with high pressure water from their truck. (give me a break)
Then it was repair 10' of PCV pipe and some connectors ( maybe $100.00 at home Depot) total cost $1600.00 (Jessee James used a pistol)
Now it was special chemicals to clean the drain field.. $1300. for a 5 gal pail. On the internet this costs maybe $150 to $250 but certailnly not $1300.
What could I do? We two retired folks on fixed incomes and are in our 70's. They had us over an open septic tank and knew it.
Would I use them again NO! and HELL NO to boot.
Can't falt the techs. They did a good job but they are working for the wrong company.
