Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
As I have read a few complaints about Pinnacle Securities I have decided that it is time for me to verify and speak out as a previous employee of Pinnacle Securities. They not only use skills that persuade customers but they use the same skills to persuade and recruit employees. They glamourize and play-up then do not follow through and you pay the price.

My Husband and I had a close friend who told us about Pinnacle Security and the great oportunity it provided. We felt that this person was credible because it was his best friend who was/would be our manager. Our friend decided that this would be a great thing and convinced us to consider it. I had many questions about safty while being out in neighborhood selling for close to 8+ hours a day.

I had questions like: What kind of neighborhoods will we be in? Will I be safe? Is this something that you recommend women doing? Will I be equiped with a device if something were to happen? Will I be in a area where I can be near my husband? These were questions any women would ask for their safty.

The Answers I recieved from Pinnacle: The neighborhoods you are placed in are extensively researched, you will be placed in an area that is mid to high income averages. Yes, you will be safe. Although there are few women sales reps we are confident that you will not have a problem in the neighborhoods we place you. Yes, we will equip you with mase. If being in the same neighorhood as your husband makes you more confortable, then this should not be a problem.

First of all, my husband and I drove from Eugene Or to Milwaukee WI. During our sales they split me from my husband. My husband was nearly 5-10 miles away from me. We weren't even on the same sales team. I was in a place I had never been and I was driven there in someone elses vehicle.

The version of extensive reseach included zoomed in city maps outlining which streets you were assigned. They hadn't even gone to the neigborhood I was in to physically check the conditions. We did not have proper licencing to be in that part of town. We did not have licencing for the enitre state of Wisconsin.

The neigborhood was not mid-class. There were drug deals and crack houses up and down my assigned street. I had the courage to knock on a door and I was face to face with a lady who was cracked out of her mind and had track marks on her arms. I was not safe nor did I feel safe. They did not offer a security device to carry on my body, yet I was required to sell security systems to people who would not even pre-qualify with a credit check.

The next day I notified our manager what I had experience and he had moved me to a different group. But, the next day was a blizzard and there was 2.5 feet of snow. An hour of walking in the snow my shoes, socks and pants were soaking wet.

Pinnacle Security edangered my safty and my health by not following through or answering honestly to the safty questions I required for me to sign an employment contract. Now, my husband and I endured 3 weeks of hell with Pinnacle Security and decided to leave WI and come back to Oregon. We had no home and no jobs to come back to. And now Pinnacle wants each of us to pay $700.

I have sympathy and regret with getting involved with this company. They lie to get what they want and will even threaten your health and safty to do so. I feel bad for the many people who have listed and broadcasted their complaints and dealings with this company. Because myself and they were ripped off.

ANOTHER Security-related RIP -OFF... Ho-hum

Thank you for letting me know about these people. IT SEEMS LIKE THE ENTIRE SECURITY INDUSTRY IS BASED ON DECEPTION,PREYING UPON PEOPLE'S FEARS and DESIRE TO BE SAFE and SECURE, now more than ever, when there does not seem to be security or safety in the world and not even in our basic economy on which our jobs and livelihood are based. I hope that you all did not sell your home in OREGON! Sounds like it. Sounds like to me that you have some legal damages coming against these bastards if you did give everything up on the promise that you would be able to make a living selling these alarms. Also, you can't take ANYBODY'S word for ANYTHING ANYMORE. This "best friend" sounds like a Judas goat who was getting a percentage of the sales and perhaps a fee per head for anybody he brought into the sales program --- a referral bonus or such. I guess it was enough to lose a friendship forever -- you guys ARE NOT having anything more to do with this ( Expletive deleted) are you after he put you through all of this? And as long as you all were in Minnesota, I would have checked out other employment possibilities instead of just BLINDLY having left my community solely on the basis of the word of some money-driven treacherous schmuck. And I would definitely talk with an attorney about a possible breach of contract or promise of employment suit. By the way, a pair of rubber boots like you wear on dairy farms when you hose down the premises or some galoshes would have a cheap thing to get and you need them when walking in snow to avoid pneumonia and other nasties that you can get while walking in snow. This whole operation has RIP OFF in red letters visble for ten miles and I don't think you or any other reasonable and prudent person would have fallen for it had it not been for the "word" of you husband's so-called friend. I don't know how old you are. Sounds like to me you are in your twenties and I hope that it is not too late for you guys to PROMISE NEVER,EVER to just rely on somebody's "Word" because it isn't worth JACK anymore. AND that you will check out all companies in the Rip Off Report or another CREDIBLE SOURCE like the Internet or Swopes or ANYPLACE ELSE before you gamble your entire life on them! Don't ever go more than 20-30 miles to look for a job or commute to work, especially if you have relatives, good friends ( Whose livelihood does NOT depend upon lying to you), religious or spiritual group as SUPPORT GROUPS/SAFETY NET. I would check into sueing this so-called friend for FRAUD and the company for INTENTIONAL FRAUD ( Both tort/civil actions) so they would reimburse me for the costs of gasoline and mileage to Minnesota and back to Oregon, and the time I actually spent on the street. $700 LUMP SUM WHEN TWO PEOPLE WERE WORKING IS RIDICULOUS. By offering you the sum, they are admitting their wrongdoing and they want you to take that money as a final settlement. DON'T FALL FOR IT. REMEMBER THIS UNHAPPY INCIDENT AND NEVER FALL FOR ANY MORE PRIVATE SECURITY RELATED LIES,FRAUD, CHEATING, MISREPRESENTATION and GENERAL GARBAGE PROMISES AGAIN! DO NOT GO TO WORK FOR A PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY. DO NOT HAVE A SECURITY ALARM SYSTEM THAT IS LISTED IN THE RIP-OFF REPORT INSTALLED IN YOUR HOME. HAVE NOTHING MORE TO DO WITH THAT SO-CALLED "FRIEND" WHO GOT YOU INTO THIS MESS!
