Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This company fooled my mother into taking a security system.

The Sales rep by the name of Madelyn Loxee showed up a my mothers door scared her in to thinking that she  needed a security system by "playing" on the fact that my father had just died and she was all alone in a neighborhood that had lots of (the word she used) "undesirable" people in it, she talked to her about the high crime. My mother is black so I do not know why she used the word "undesirable" people and since I have not heard of any crime in the neighborhood, Madelyn just assumed because of the blacks in the neighborhood then it must have crime.

She told my mother that she had 3 MONTHS to take a "trial" and she would contact my mother at that time, she wanted my mothers bank account information, my mother told her she did not want anything to come out of her account, Madelyn stated this was only for verification purpose only.

They immediately started taking money out of her account. My mother is on a very tight budget and Madelyn could clearly see that my mother is not wealthy at all.

When my mother bounced a check and realized they were taking her money she called me very upset crying because she was short and could not make her mortgage payment.

Her nose started bleeding (she is on a blood thining medicine for blood clots) she had to go to bed. When I called Pinnical, they told me my mother should have read the contract, my mother never read anything because she did not know she was signing a 3 year contract.

Pinnical will not give her the money back and told me it was not their problem if she lost her home, they told ME to help her out.

This is the worse company I have ever dealt with. Taking advantage of the elderly when they clearly do not understand. My mom is sick and just lost my dad and the "sorry poor excuse of a sales rep Madelyn" used my deceased dad to scare my mom and used my mom being black and living in a black neighborhood to say all blacks are "undesirabe". I want this company to IMMEDIATELY give my mom her money back or I will go to the NAACP and the Attorney General on race, and age abuse.

First have your mother (or yourself if authorized) contact the the lender and cancel the automatic withdrawl of the payments.  She may also contact her bank and ask they restrict automatic debits from this company. If the bank cannot do this she can always close her account and open a new one

Second there is little the lender can do against your mother.  She is on social security and cannot garnish that income.  So what will happen is your mother will get a collection or judgement for the default of the loan.  Worst case scenario is the lender may be able to place a fixture lien (UCC) if she is a home owner.  If a lien is placed it would have to be settled before the home could be refinanced or sold.  Given your mothers age she may not be likely to do either.

I do agree that the salesperson probably took advantage of your mothers age.  However, claiming race descrimination is a bit much, of course the salesperson is going to say there are "undesirable" people or high crime in the area, it doesn't matter where you live or the race of the people in the area.  They wouldn't have been able to get your mother to sign on if they told her she was in a safer neighborhood.

The truth is there are "undesirable" , (thieves, sex offenders, drug dealers, etc.)people in every community no matter what race they happen to be.
