Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Planet Ford off 45 was horrible!!! I saw the exact car I wanted. Positive. The rest was down hill from there. The first guy Steven lied to me 4 time in an one hr period. I should have known from there. Then I had my own financing. They told me they don't work with that bank. Then he would not return my calls.

Second guy Jason Sampson, I called the next day to complain and he reassured me many positive things and come back.

I did. This was 10/31/2013. I looked at the car again. Test drove. Negotiated. They said they would fix the bumper. They just got the car on the lot 2 days ago and did not run it through service or anything yet. We negotiated on the price. Came to a number. They valued my trade in too low. They said it had too many miles on it and would go to auction and may get what they were giving me. This was the General Manager. Guess what... It's listed on the website for over double what they gave me. And to top it off it says it has a clear carfax on the add which is false. It was wrecked last November. It's minor but still had some body work done.

Anyways, we went back and forth with the numbers. They kinda pressured me but I wanted the car. They told me the price of the car would go up $1,000 plus if they fixed the bumped. I googled bumpers and it costs $300 for a color matched full bumper. I showed him that. Then the toon changed. They then were going to take $1500 off the price if I fixed it. Then the general manager came in and said no.

We got the number right. I agreed and signed papers. They gave me a rental car till the car was ready.

THE RENTAL CAR WAS FULL OF CEMENT ANTS!!!!!!!!!

I called Jason up and he acted surprise. He tried to say it was my fault. I brought it back in. He saw them and acted surprise and dumb founded. THE DEALERSHIP IS INFESTED WITH ANTS. THEY ARE CONSTANTLY EXTERMINATING THEM. THE EMPLOYEES TOLD ME. NO NAMES I DONT WANT SOME FIRED.

I drove my car for a few days till they were ready for the bumper. The car had no ants at this point and no service done.  I dropped it off on Thursday and they made me actually rent a car. I don't think that's right at all.

Car was "ready" Saturday. The bumper doesn't match the car color. But oh well. They hit a curb and messed up my rim, dinged the driver side back panel, and guess what..... FULL OF ANTS. I JUST HAD A PEST GUY EXTERMINATE MY CAR.

Oh and the worst of the worst....

No service to the car.

No inspection.

No detail.

THE TIRES ARE DRY ROTTED, CRACKED AND BALD.

Jason said it went through "inspection" and the tires are good. I said no way!! They are bald!! I asked where service is and I will have them checked. He said its over there help your self.

I did.

Their service department said they are dry rotted bald and needed to be replaced. I HAVE IT ON RECORDING.

THERE SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!!

I told Jason. The GENERAL MANAGER CAME OUT.

HE FLAT OUT TOLD ME HE WAS NOT GOING TO REPLACE THEM NO MATTER WHAT HIS SERVICE GUYS SAID. THEN WALKED OFF.

I TOLD HIM WAIT FOR MY REVIEWS. TRUST ME IM NOT DONE. I WANT TO SPEAK TO THE OWNERS AND I WANT NEW TIRES. TOMM IM ALSO GOING TO SEE IF IT WILL PASS INSPECTION.

MY LOVING HUSBAND IS BUYING NEW TIRES. IM A HOME HEALTH NURSE. I DRIVE MANY MILES EVERY DAY HELPING THE SICK AND DYING. Fox 26 even did a story on me for helping people and promoting seeing your loved ones. Maybe I should give them a call.....

I would not recommend going here. If they fix my problems I would. How can you sell a car and have it pass their 167 what ever inspection with bald tires? Did they even look at the car? What else is wrong????

I must be reading an entirely different report.

I must be reading an entirely different report and the real report must be somewhere else.

Because in your update you stated that they would change the tires.  But in the original report I read the first time you bring it up you took it over to the Service Department and the only thing the mechanic said is that they "needed" to be replaced.  I didn't read the words.."Oh yes we will replace them free of charge".  Oh and you better watch out about that "recording".  In some circumstances if they were not aware you were recording them you could actually be the one who is guilty of an actual crime.

In your updates you also talk about a warranty.  Yet in the original report you didn't mention a single thing about a waranty.  In fact in the end you still had to pay for the bumper repair.

As for the auction, again it doesn't matter if they told you they were going to tie it to a rocket and send it to the moon.  Once you sell the car do them they can do what ever the heck they want..oh and that includes changing their mind about sending it to auction.   After all what if you said you were going to give the car to your grandmom from Pasadena who drives the car to church on Sunday's, but then decided to keep it yourself.  Should they claim a RipOff on YOU for lying to them?

But perhaps the real kicker and wondering what report I was actually reading, in your update the deal all of the sudden was a good thing as the "numbers" worked out for you and the price was right?   Umm...where again is the RipOff?

"They didn't work with THAT bank"???  And you believed that?  What is there to "work with"?  Your bank provides you with money.  What dealer doesn't "work" with money???

Tires, inspection, ants...

These are my concerns.

I'm just telling the whole story.

It has a warranty. They told me it would be inspected, and all that.

The tires are bald. They said they would be changed.

Tires are my point.

They told me they would change the tires and they did not.

Second on the trade in thing,

they told me it was going to auction and not being sold there.

My car I don't care. The numbers worked out for me. The price was right.

If there is any RipOff...

If there is any RipOff here, YOU let them do it to you.  There were several points you could have walked away, but you failed to do that.  Even after they keep changing terms on you..YOU still stayed.  You have two feet that you could of used but failed.

You test drove the vehicle, but failed to miss the bald and dry-rotted tires?  You complain(per the title of your report) that there was no inspection, but they told you that.

You say they valued your trade to low, so why did you accept the offer?  You then say your car was "wrecked" but then the damage was "minor".  Those two terms DO NOT go together, wrecked indicated major damage.  So which is it?

You complain that they then were offering your car for sale for more than double.  Well YOU sold the car to them and it is not your car.  They could sell if for 2 times, 200 times or even 2000 times the price they paid you if they wanted and there isn't a darn thing you can do about it..because it is NOT your car.

You then say that they originally agreed to fix the bumper, but then were charging you for it.  So why did you let them all of the sudden change that "deal"?

Honestly, if you had the word welcome printed on your t-shirt you couldn't have been more of a doormat for them.  So perhaps next time when you go looking for a car, you probably should take someone with you who actually has the ability to handle it.

Did you agree to an AS-IS sale?

“They valued my trade in too low… It's listed on the website for over double what they gave me.”

When it was your car you could have declined their offer. Now it’s their car, so they can attempt to sell it for whatever amount they want.

“They told me the price of the car would go up $1,000 plus if they fixed the bumped.”

You previously indicated that you had negotiated the bumper repair as part of the deal. Why did you permit them to alter that agreement?

“Did they even look at the car?”

Did YOU look at the tires?
