Back in 2005 myself along with a bus load of M.Reddick network investor took a tour of the new development called Playa Del Paraiso in San Felipe MX. They wine and dine us that weekend while we learn of this great ground floor opportunity. Our MR network rep. and the developer rep. were very positive this was a good deal to get into and made us feel comfortable enough to sign the sales contract to purchase.

We even hired our own US Lawyer to look over the contract and we made several changes to lower our risk. We knew there were risk involved with any new development, but we were not prepared for what happen in the next several years.

We gave them the 20k at signing of contract and it was agreed (in writing) we would come in with the remaining down payment (54K) once "....all completion bonds were in place to guarantee completion of the project". (Our Lawyer had us add the clause about them coming up with the bonds before any more money was put down). They accepted this clause in the contract (I've got signed contract to prove).

The real problem started when they supplied us with only partial completion bonds (Concrete and steel). So we told them no more money until they show ALL bonds are in place.

They ruled we were in breach of contract and that we had to sign over all rights to said unit we purchased. It ended up in the Lawyers hands for quite some time with no resolution in sight. Even my MX. Lawyer I hired isn't doing anything but taking my money. I have no idea how to get justice. It appears in MX. anything goes. A contract is nothing more than a piece of toilet paper in Mexico. I know of other investor who are in the same boat with this company. We need to step up to the plate and get the justice we deserve. How dare you take my hard earn American dollars. Shame on you Laura, Ron and Eric....

Update. It appears the current developer (Clifton Meridian) has left this project. So the project has come to a screeching halt again. Will this project ever get done....hard to say....started in late 2004..as of today I estimate 25% complete. 1 building out of 3 is sort of getting complete. We are compiling quite a list of investors now that have either been scammed out of their deposits or are concerned about completion of the project. You will be hearing from our Lawyer soon. Justice will be served.

Karen your issues were a legal contract dispute with Inversiones Soblar S.A. De C.V. At the time of your purchase I was not working with Soblar. I was hired after the fact. I am an independent contractor and have no authority over Soblar's policies or agreements. Once again, I am an independent agent and I did not receive compensation from your transaction. Please refrain from smearing my good reputation and integrity with your false and libelous statements concerning your transaction with reckless disregard for whether those statements are true. Shame on You!!! I DID NOT RIP YOU OFF!!!With careful review you should have discovered that the statements were false and slanderous in regard to me. Eric Garcia
