I am filing this ripoff report because I just got ripped off my lvl 80 world of warcraft account that I tried to sell. The buyer paid $179, which playerauctions holds first until they verify it was deliveryed.

Anyway the buyer got the account information from playerauctions after paying them $179, then they changed all of the information as it was hooked up with battle.net. Then they complained to me and playerauctions that they did not receive any email with the information, even though I know they did because all of a sudden the login information and email and even last name and first name on the account was changed.

Basically the scammer, aka buyer, filed a dispute and did not confirm delivery confirmation which is what is required before PlayerAuctions initiates a dispursment of funds to you. Now I challenge his dispute and I hope that the PlayerAuctions Committee see's that I already have a previous successful transaction and this guy has 2 failed transactions, however they believe his lies and give him a full refund, and now im stuck with no account and no money.

They refuse to help me get my account back, and are claiming that the login information should be the same, however it is not as I just explained it was changed from the buyer when he received it from playerauctions(you submit data to playerauctions they verify it, then they send that to buyer if buyer pays ) so I was scammed and ripped off by playerauctions out of lvl World of Warcraft account.

Do not trust them with selling your account, I would not even trust them to buy anything because if you cannot trust them with selling an account whats to stop the PlayerAuctions committee from not believeing you if you are scammed when you buy an account and the information is invalid and they tell you that your lying and you get no refund, you basically paid for login information that is useless.

BEWARE PLAYERAUCTIONS.COM IS A SCAM HAVEN AND PLAYERAUCTIONS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE SELLER

Four months ago, I was in the exact same situation as you. I had decided to sell a Diablo 3 account through Player Auctions. I went through their website and jumped through all of their annoying hoops they claim are for the seller's "safety". A buyer is found for my account and delivery is made, suddenly the website says that my money will not be disbursed for 17 days instead of the 3 days that was quoted to be when I signed up to sell my account. Fast forward to 17 days later and the money does not arrive in my Paypal account.

I try for days to reach someone in customer service, their live chat function on their website is down for an additional week. I e-mailed them about my problem of having not gotten payment after 17 days and I get no response via e-mail. Finally on the 26th day after selling my account, their live chat system is up and running and I get a live operator in chat. He tells me that the payment is pending, but there is a problem with paypal and it's on my end. I contact paypal and inform them thay Player Auctions is trying to send me money, but there is a problem with my paypal. Paypal tells me there is no problems with my account, and even tests my account by sending me a few cents.

I get ahold of Player Auctions again, and now they are telling me that the buyer did not get the account delivered to him, and that he had filed a dispute against me for fraud. They tell me the investigation will take a week and to respond to all mediation e-mails which I do. After a week, I responded to all e-mails, the buyer responded to none. They side with the buyer and issue him a full refund and ownership of my account. Player Auctions is a horrible scam and rip off. They care nothing about people, they simply collect their fees in the way that is most profitable to them. Stay away from this company at all costs, it's not worth dealing with them.

1 Year Later, Playerauctions still refuses to pay me the promised $179 for me giving them my account, or giving me back my account in regards as in the changed email and password that their client did

1 Year later and Playerauctions continues to rip off customers.

Please Beware, if you try to sell an account using Playerauctions.com and you go through all the steps and processes,

then the person who bought your account logs in, then changes the password and email and goes back to the playerauctions website and does not click the delivery completion,

and instead decides to keep your account and file a delivery not completed, meaning he wants a refund because he feels you have not given him correct login account details, when in fact you honestly did.

He then gets a full refund for what he paid from playerauctions, and since he never confirmed delivery you never receive the money you sold your account for that playerauctions was holding, which then took it off hold and gave it back to the buyer as a refund,

or get your account back because the BUYER stole it by way of changing the account information and claiming the information was innaccurate.

All that trouble, and playerauctions will side with the scammer, the buyer who changes your details of your account you try to sell as soon as he gets a hold of it. And for all that you will get this email from playerauctions.

"As a result of the meticulous inspection of your Delivery Evidence, the review of the trading history of you and the Buyer, as well as the rigorous verification you and the Buyer underwent during this transaction, the PlayerAuctions Final Resolution Committee has concluded that the Order 80807 is closed with 0% delivery completion. Therefore, we would perform a full refund to the buyer."

actually I did reply to every single one of your emails, I told you guys that the buyer confirmed details at 9am in the morning and he said he logged in then later in the evening at 3pm he claims the information was changed, I tried to recover password but I found out that the buyer changed the first name and last name of the account merged with (((Redacted))), and therefor was unable to retrieve the account back, then he lied to you guys and you believed him and refunded him, also his record shows 0 successful transactiosn and 2 uncompleteed orders, my record shows 1 successful transaction, You idiots still decided in his favor, that is why everyone will be able to see on Ripoffreport just how terrible playerauctions services are if you try to sell an account. And my report will stay there since you guys are terrible.

All of that for trying to sell your account with Playerauctions.com, now I wouldn't even buy an account from them either if they can't even be trusted as a supplier of accounts because they scam their sellers.  Also if you notice, they still refunded the scammer even though he had 2 uncompleted orders on his record and I had nothing bad like that on my record. So, its a scammer haven, there is no remorse for accounts in bad standing, meaning you may not realize the person your selling to or buying from, because they will hide their negative status because in the end Playerauctions is out to make a buck, and only refunds you partially, they still keep there 25 dollar transaction fee, so even when they refund customers like in this case, which he was infact a scammer not a customer, they still come out ahead making a profit of 25 dollars..
