Power Chrysler replaced the motor mounts in my car in 2009. I just found out they need to be replaced again. I was told this shouldn't happen. I contacted Power Chrysler and was told they only guarantee for 2 years. My car was 3 years old the first time this happened. Now it's happened again. Chrysler doesn't care if they have a problem with the part or the installation. They just want a lot of money to fix it again. My car doesn't even have 100000 miles on it yet. I don't expect them to fix this for free. It would be nice if Power was willing to work with me to come up with a fare solution. This is the 3rd car I have purchased from Power Chrysler. It will be the last. Poor poor customer service.

When I say "work with me" I mean inspect my vehicle.

Find out if the mounts where installed correctly. Inspect the part. Look for recalls. Just review the issue. I don't drive much so mileage should be considered when this keeps happening after so many miles. As I have stated I am not looking for a freebie or discount. I'm concerned that this could be a safety issue. Talking with the dealership it became clear that they don't care about anything other than money. Now l know money is what makes the world go round and that's why they're in business. I get it. I just thought Power Chrysler would take an interest in finding out why this is happening.

Concerned?

If this part failed after the same amount of time as the first one, you may have something because 3 years is not really normal.  However,  after 7 years of use you are basically asking the impossible. That is for them to look at the part or do research and with any reasonable assurance tell you that it was defective.

This is not a matter of you being "concerned", this is as you stated you wanting them to "work with you". So what exactly are you looking for? If by chance they took a thorough look at the part and was able to show it wasn't defective, would that satisfy you for them "working with you"? Or are you really looking for more?

Good Luck...

I'm concerned why in less than 60000 miles the motor mounts failed for the second time. As I stated I am not looking for a freebie. I want Chrysler to look into this and see if they have defective parts. I'm upset because Power Chrysler's attitude is one of indifference.

You have an 11 year old car, they replaced parts in 2009 and provided a warranty for 2.  That part has now lasted you 7 years. Yet they are somehow trying to rip you off because they won't "work with you".

Sorry but you will have to forgive me as I don't see exactly how they are Ripping you off? In fact the only one who seems unreasonble is you and your claim that they are under some obligation to come up with a "fair" solution or you will take your business elswhere. While you have every right to do that, I don't think many(if any) other dealers would have covered even part of this repair either in this situation.

Perhaps if you get the right person on the right day they may come up with a solution for you. But out of curiosity what would you consider as being fair?

Good Luck.
