Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
powerhouse movers gave me an estimate over the phone of $1628.00 and they came by the day before the move to look at what i had, i asked if i was close to the estimate and they said 'yes', mabey a 'little' over or under, so they loaded it in the truck and figured out the bill and it was doubled... $3106.00... i was in shock and told him so and his response was ...'well we can un-load it rite here and you can get someone else to move it..which was impossible.

It was a very bad experience, when they finally delivered my belongings, things were 'missing' and they broke one of my T.V.'s... it was not just cracked, it was smashed to smitherines.

Today, 3 and 1/2 weeks later they said they would give me $60.00 dollars to cover the tv and missing printer, broom and the base of my pc that they cracked, the suitecase they tore, and the vacuum cleaner handle they broke.

There is so much more, they lied to me about many things and the second mover who actually delivered my belongings said they did not use the extra cubic feet they charged me for. I had to give them $1,959.00 when they picked up my stuff and upon arrival at my new place i had to give them $1,055.00 in cash before they would take anything off the truck, i had a cashiers check for them and that was not acceptable, i had to drive to the bank with 'Isack' and get cold hard cash. Isack is the one who told me i was over charged and i called and tried to get it taken care of but they all the 'details' and extra charges ready to explain to me... i know i was totally taken advantage of and they will deny every truth about it... i took the paper work to an attorney and he basically said they 'covered their butts' and there is not much i can do.. so i am just butt dust now.

I OFFERED THE CUSTOMER A SETTLEMENT/ MORE THAN HER INSURANCE WORTH / WE HAVE EVERYTHING IN CONTRACT

#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

I Yael Tsour contacted Sadie prior to the movers loading her furniture, to inform her of more items our foreman tabulated in her home. Sadie informed our company she had very little items etc. Before contracting with our reputable company, we advise that the customer make sure the inventory is accurate. She insisted on having very few things. Our company offers a standard insurance free, with all moves. The customer may purchase more if he or she desires. Our standard insurance policy is $0.60 per lbs. Meaning according to the law and contract Sadie signed for the $0.60 per lbs. I the owner offered her $65.00 for the TV! One more decieving comment she wrote up is she said the only damaged item was the TV, now she's coming up with all these items. I asked her to email me the pictures, the only item that was ever brought to our attention was the TV. She is elligable for $18.00 at most. SHE HUNG UP ON ME STATING " NO, I WANT TO RUIN YOUR NAME & THAT IS WHATY I'M GOING TO DO." Our company intends to value our customers despite what she'd like to say or think. Our company was featured in the Wall Street Journal for a REASON. I would appreciate if this company had the facts prior to posting unfactual decieving remarks. Just an example of her accurate inventory, she said she had 30 boxes when she had 80! our company doesn't work for free!
