I worked At PT's once,, granted there are some great techs that do work for the "company".. But then,,, I'd beware, of some of the repair work that the "company" does preform.
They DO NOT keep many parts "in-stock" and most parts that are aquired are from most likely from advance or auto-zone, then marked up 3X plus labor.
I worked for a "manager" that could talk the pants off a virgin, so too speak, only interested in sales and not the customers problems.
Sale on maintance is the motto. As for the brake problem thing with Calipers, I've seen new Calipers sold on cars with only 26K miles on them because they were "bad"... I'll be checking back and will tell more horror stories that I can tell alot of,, included also any about "Jiffy Lube"

I used to work for Jiffy Lube for over a year and never once i have seen customers get ripped off. I find it that, if there are any problems, its the management, not the company. Some of these managers have given Jiffy Lube a bad rap. But i worked with some of the greatest people and learned many things. If we didn't have the part in stock, we would promptly get it from the nearest auto store for the customer if the customer wished and not a dollar too expensive. I assure all of you that Jiffy Lube is a great place to get an oil change. I would hear nothing but great responses from the customers. When problems occurred ( which they did), our manager was quick to resolve them and he was always about the customers satisfaction. But there were always those a$$holes though that raised hell but still, they recieved our highest attention.
