Predicto Text Message Rippoff Subscription Internet
Predicto started texting my iphone for which I would be billed $0.20 for each one so I followed the instructions to have this thing deleted from my phone.
Three days later I get the phone bill and my wife was going over it and asked me why I ordered a text message game subscription when I do not use text messaging?
I told my wife I did no such thing and I proceeded to call AT&T to have the charge removed and the subscription stopped. I was very fortunate in that my wife caught it early and that the AT&T person was able to have the charge removed and the subscription stopped.
This is a ripoff in that I never ordered this and had my wife not checked the bill so thoroughly I would not have been able to get a refund. I do believe this is the intention of this company; that you won't notice the charge until they collected at least one billing cycle. If I'd had automatic bill pay I might never have caught it.
They should be turned over to the State Attorney Generals Office or the FBI for interstate fraud.
