PredictoMobile Sent unauthorized text to cell phone and I was charged $9.98 by my cell phone carrier Fort Lee New Jersey
I was charged $9.98 by my cell phone company for having received an unauthorized text from PredictoMobile. After calling their customer service line (800 360-0518) I was advised I was charged because I "signed up" and agreed to a $9.98 charge per month. For what? I have NEVER heard of this company, and I certainly NEVER agreed to have them bill me on a monthly business for whatever they are sending texts on.
I plan to write a letter of complaint as well as post these people as rip-offs and thieves on every site like this I can find. They steal your phone number from a website that you are actually signing up for that you want and then send texts and charge your phone carrier. I'm going to give them as much hell as I can.
I am never going to put my phone number out there on anything again, and if it is required, I'll give a bogus one for my own protection.
This company (or whatever) is just a thief......bottomline. Beware of PredictoMobile.
