This all started when I wanted to purchase a Kirby Vacuum from a door to door Sales Person in Texas. Do not use Preferred Credit, Inc. (PCI) this company will mess up your credit and will not work with you to fix errors. When I got behind, I offered to pay a little more each month, which didn't seem to help. Looks like I never got caught up. They still reported as it being late and would not change it as to caught up on your credit report. This company only hurts your credit. I repeat do not buy the Kirby Vacuum, if this is the company that will finance it. The Kirby Vacuum isn't worth your credit being harmed and it sure isn't worth paying over $1400. Preferred Credit, Inc. (PCI) and the Kirby Vacuum are scams for them to get rich quick. They take your money while harming your credit, and they don't care either. They have poor customer services. You have been warned.

 I absolutely agree with your post. We had here that same game going on with pci. First it started with the kirby guy in the door, products we bought will easy finance we all was told. After getting this salesman all our valuable information about bank routing, social security number and so on we got hook with pci. It never worked in either way to pay on time or to the terms to the party we was in debt with. First we enrolled in auto pay, after month's we see late charges on the bill with the excuses our bank account info is wrong. Not from our side. To talk or pay over the phone with all the time different managers and supervisors is like running true hell. Hard to understand, unprofessional, lost souls in the system. Finally got after 25 minutes today someone on the phone to take the final payment from almost $600 instead the promised $400. I'm done with this company for good and warn everyone to never ever use their service!!!

 You stated in your report, YOU were late making payments and YOU didn't ever get caught up. Since YOU were late, how was it THEIR fault that info made it to the bureau?
