This so-called company randomly selects its victims so please beware!! I received a call on my husbands cell phone with an offer that sounded way too good to be true. This company was offering me a Master Card with a credit limit of $2500. The card had no annual fees and with a 0.0% interest rate, the offer was irresistible. There was however a one-time fee of $219.95 (to process and deliver the benefits package which included my new credit card) and a very small monthly fee of $9.95.

After speaking with the sales representative, I was asked to remain on the line to go through their verification process that consisted of yes and no questions with the basic, name, address, etc. information (to an automated system). A month later, I called to check up on the status of my credit card (with the holidays right around the corner) and was told that my benefits package was mailed out and that I should be receiving it any day now.

I asked if I just needed to call to activate the card, and they had the nerve to tell me that I would have to LOAD the funds into the card. After listening to some bullshit explanation from the customer service/assistant, I asked for a refund. I was then informed that they dont refund unless there was a mistake with the verification process. They proceeded to playback the verification process with me answering each question and even had a part in there about this offer not being a line of credit and something about them sending me an empty credit card.

If I had known that I was paying $220 for an empty credit card, I would have not agreed to such an arrangement and would have cancelled immediately. This company is also known as:

Actually as per your problem with your account gettng debited. Here's how I can help. 1. Go to your bank and file a R9 which is means that you NEVER authorized your bank account to be drafted. (don't worry you have 60 days to reverse the draft, even if they have the recording on you, the only reason they have that is to not issue any refunds.) 2. Contact the company and explaing to them that they used the "bait and switch" which in all 50 states is illegal. 3. explain to the company that you have already contacted your bank and reversed the charge(they will proceed to tell you that they are going o refund you ASAP) (---the reason for that is because the marketing company that called you has a 3rd party ACH(automated clearing house) account and must keep there account "chargebacks" below the normal 1% or there account will be frozen and not paid to them for up to 120 days. 4. You can thank me Cause I GUARANTEE THIS WILL WORK!!!!

" I don't think you should hold the company responsible for your error. If the tape stated that it is not a line of credit, you must have understood what that meant. That sounds fairly clear to me. In the future, you may want to pay closer attention to any agreements you make over the telephone. I don't mean to rub it in, but it sounds like you're getting exactly what you agreed to. Where's the beef?
