I was billed $185 from Premier Premium Communications for long distance calls made to the UK. I tried all day to contact them at 1.800.918.9057. The line was constantly busy. I followed all the directions on the back of their "statement". I sent a certified letter to P.O. Box 10718 / Bedford NH 03110 stating that I did not, nor did anyone in my family incur these charges.

The most interesting part of this is that we have a cable modem and do not access the internet via telephone line.

I contacted the FBI Internet Fraud Dept www.ifccfbi.gov I was contacted in one day via email by St. Kalantzis. Here is a copy of the email sent to me:

My name is Sgt Kalantzis of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in New Hampshire. I am reviewing your complaint that you filed against Premier Premium Communications. I have received numerous complaints from

this company over the last few months but all of the other victims have had dial up and you have cable, so in my investigation I am trying to determine how you could be charged for this service if you do not use dial up because it states on there web site they bill the number that your dial up modem accesses. Could you please furnish me any and all the info you have? Ex. The websites they say you accessed etc. I can not

find any info on this company. I have just received your complaint today and I will be looking into it.

Thank you for your time.

He also sent another email to me to access this website, which is very interesting:

I spoke to him on the phone and faxed a copy of my statement to him. He was very helpful.

The good news is that after I contacted the FBI and the USPS, I sent Premier Premium Communications an email via their website and told them exactly who I contacted.

I received an email back from them stating the following:

Based on the investigation we have done, no billing errors have occurred. As a courtesy I have issued you credit on your bill, you do not owe anything and no further collection actions will occur.

Regards,

George

Premier Premium Communications

I emailed him back and asked for a bill stating a ZERO balance, but no response.... I checked with my long distance carrier and they claim there are no charges out there (I guess since I don't have a dial-up modem).

Feel free to email me with any questions. I hope this nightmare is over with.
