Premier Source Roofing Eric B. Hartsell Did not complete work but was paid in full. Work completed caused damage. Some work not completed winston salem North Carolina`
Eric Hartsell contracted with me for $5,300 to place a roof , gutters, repair roof of utility house. My homeowner insurance paid for his service.
Mr. Hartsell talked with the claims adjustor at my home and convinced the adjustor that there was additional work needed to be done.
The windows needed to be glazed because of hail damage, the mail box needed to be replaced. State Farm pais over $6,200.
Mr. Hartsell told me that State Farm did not give him enough money and he was waiting to get the difference. Mr. Hartsell made many excuses but never refunded the money for the work he did not complete. He asked me to pay him the amount in his name and promised to pay me for the referral I got for him, Ive never recieved the referral funds, refund for incomplete work and rain is pouring between the house and gutters. I paid to replace the a new mailbox, the framing around the damaged windows. The utility house has suffered further damage because it was not been repaired.
I called State Farm. I was told not only was Mr. Hartsell paid in full but the checks given to me to pay him but it included a 20% additional allowance for miscellaneous. I trusted giving him the funds because he completed the roof before he recieved any funds. He constantly called to find out when the checks had cleared my bank. I gave him the additional funds because he said he had to buy additional materials and pay the roofers because they had completed the work.
I've contacte the NC Consumer Protection ageny. They were unable to get a satisfactory solution or a refund of the claim money. I contacted Forsyth Better Business Burueau, he never responded to them.
I have videos of the rain falling between the house and gutters in puddles, text messages from Mr. Hartsell promising to return to repair the gutters, utility house and the mailbox. In addition, I informed Mr. Hartsell that there is damage in my bedroom and bath ceiling from the rain where they removed the shingles befoore replacing them.
