PREMIUM WHITE USA THIS IS A SCAM des moine, Iowa
I signed up for a "free trial" for their toothpaste and carefully read all the literature that arrived with the toothpaste. There was no indication I was signing up for automatic delivery or agreeing to pay anything more than the inital $1.95. I was charged the $1.95 via my credit card. Several weeks later I have now received a second tube with a note that they are please I decided to continue in the program. I NEVER agreed to be in a program in the first place. I went to their website and did a live chat with KIM who informed me that I was being charged $86.93 each for the first tube (the "free trial tube") and a second $86.93 for today's tube. She said I was locked in. I then called customer service and first spoke with Diana who said I should have read the terms and conditions and then relented that maybe they weren't there since I clicked through from a third party site (Time Magazine). I asked for her supevisor, Darren, who told me the same thing, said I could return the second tube for credit, but indicated I was locked in to the first charge. He said the free trial was only for two weeks, and after that it reverted to an autocharge program. He again said I should have read the terms and conditions. I asked why this information wasn't sent with the first tube or with today's tube, and he said that was a ridiculous suggestion. I now have the corporate office address and will contact them to try to get back my $87. This company is a scam, ripoff, unethical operator. I am totally frustrated in my attempt to reach someone who will help me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
