We scheduled a move with Presidential Van Lines from Minnesota to California. Scheduled pickup date was August 21st no one showed or called. We have made several attempts to call and no one answers and all voicemails are full. Emails go unresponded. We paid a deposit of $1200 and expect it to be refunded since they didn’t uphold their agreement. Seems like this company could be a scam to take money and never deliver.

According to the Federal DOT, they are a broker. They have no trucks and cannot possibly perform a move for you. They have to bid your move out to another unscrupulous mover, who probably didn't show up.
If you can get your deposit back, do so. Then stay off the internet to find a mover and find a mover in Minnesota in your local yellow pages. It might be more expensive, but then moving is not inexpensive no matter what anyone on the internet may tell you.
