Prestiege Pools, Barrier Reef Pools Charlie Fusco and Melody Dyson take your money and don't perform. Harrisonburg Virginia
We signed for a pool with Prestiege Pools and Charles Fusco owner, and girlfriend Melody Dyson. We gave them a check for $30,000 and subsequent checks for $5000 to install a solar heating panel and $5000 to deliver and install a waterfall. The completion date was originally September 14, 2007 with an extension until October 31, 2007.
As of now many tasks such as installing a heater for the hot tub, installing the pump and filter for the koi pond, installing the waterfall and fencing, building a shelter for the pumps, and other work has not been done. Even though we gave Fusco and Dyson a check in September to pay for the installation of the waterfall, he still has yet to pay 50 percent of the bill. He used the money for other purposes. He claims he cannot complete the pool because he does not have the money. This is inspite of the fact that according to Fusco himself he did $2 million worth of business this summer. He also owes other contractors substantial amounts of money and never keeps his word.
For example, after finally getting a hold of Fusco regarding the remaining payment on the solar heating, he told me and the owner he would be in to pay it the afternoon of November 16. Guess what, he never showed his face. His response to me was that he will talk with his lawyer before answering any more questions. And yes, we are not the only ones. He has numerous projects he has not completed and for some reason, he does not have the money. His excuse is that people have not payed their final payment. Probably part truth. The one example he gave turned out to be only partially the truth.
Beware, this is not the first complaint against the company and the individuals.
