Priceless Times calls.  Says they got my number from Travelocity and I qualify for special rate deal.  I state I do not want time shares.  They say they are not timeshare and are working with Marriott to promote properties.  Ok what's the deal.  They offer 3 vacation packages for $1000.  I tell him I have children and ask if its for just me or family.  He states that children under 12 are not charged and further that I have up to 5 years to use all the vacations or that I can gift them out.  Sounds great, worst case scenario I'm out $1k right, I buy.  He states I can stay at Villas Del Palmar with a nice studio.  They need me to fax the form right away to authorize credit card.  I execute and THEN I get the terms and conditions sent over.  States I must do the first trip listed which is the 6 Day 5 Night All Inclusive.  This is when I start getting screwed.

Try to book Villas Del Palmar 6 mos out so I can plan air travel.  Rep states that they "have not released the rooms" check back next month.  this happens for 3 months straight.  I tell them I need something to reserve otherwise I can't book the flights.  They say I can book "upgraded room" and pay and then downgrade when the rooms get freed up. Then when I book the room, there is further fine print in the details that states I have to attend a sales presentation which I specifically said I didn't want.  Now these guys state that they're not "time share" rather they are "fractional ownership" so it's not a straight up lie but it's close enough that I feel deceived.  BIG SURPRISE, THE FREE ROOMS INCLUDED IN THE PACKAGE NEVER FREED UP.  Furthermore, the price I paid for the upgraded room is the same price I would've paid had I booked directly with the presentation.  So what the f**k did I pay Priceless Times for??

Now I've fulfilled my obligation to take the first trip and I want my 8 day 7 night cruise.  Remember I paid $1000 for 3 all inclusvie vacations.  They are referring me to another site where I've got to pay $45 to get a certificate for a cruise.  The fine print states that the certificate is only good toward the passenger tickets, not a whole host of other stuff (port fees, fuel charges, blah blah blah) and that I should anticipate a minimum cost per person of $499 to $799 per person.  This is about what I'd pay if I booked directly with the cruise line AND I was initially told the $1000 paid for the entire vacation.

Needless to say, I'm calling bullshit scam out on these guys.  They're located out of Mexico so good luck getting my money back.  I'm going to refer them to the USPS to try and shut down their website for fraud.

Hope this helps.
