Prime One Benefits Ripped off and Scamed New York City, NY dishonest ripoffs
My husband & I unforchantly have bad credit and Prime One Benefits knew that. They called my husband one night to offer him this great deal that has turned out to be bogus.
My husband was offered a gauremteed credit card with $1000.00 limit and that upon receipt of our membership fee of $187.00 we would be issued this credit card with in 20- 25 days. With in that time frame we did not get a credit card we got a benefits package.
I called the company only to find out that you have to fill out a credit card app online or from the packet. There was no credit card app in the packet so they faxed on to my office. We filled it out and proptly returned it by fax knowing that we would have our credit card with in 10 days.
I was also informed on the phone that we would be issued a credit card with up to $1000.00 credit limit not the $1000.00 that was promissed ot my husband orignially. We did however recieve a letter from prime one about a week later with a prefilled out credit card application to Orchard Bank reqiring a $200.00 dollar security deposit. I could have done that myself I did not need there help.
Today (6/19/03) I went to the BBB web site to fine that this company has mislead many people. As well as I found a email address to a Paul Price the owner. I sent an email today to Prime One requesting that they refund our money immedietly and the I forwarded the same email to the president only to have the email returned undeliverable.
I would hope that whoever reads this will learn from ur mistake however I will win in the endwith a return of my money.

How to get you money back

I have just found out to get the money back. I have contacted the ACH company directly and will be receiving me money back by Friday at the lastest. You have to call you bank and ask for the 3rd party or ACH Company that took the money out on Prime One's behalf. The will give you a routing number as well as they will have the address and phone number to the company. Once you have this information contact the ACH company and let them know that they are collecting funds for a fraudulant company and that they can verify your story by contacting the BBB or FTC. After I made the phone call to the ACH company they said that they would contact Prime One directly to resolve the matter. Within 10 mins I was receiving a call back from the ACH company stating that the money would be in my account no later than Friday and that if it was not there to call her back. The routing number the bank gave me was 11190324 I am not sure if that is Prime One (aka First National Bank) or if that is the one to the ACH company. The ACH company is Electronic Finantial Group 4800 West Waco Drive Waco, Texas 76710 Phone number is 254-399-8888 and as to speak to Pam in customer service. She was very helpful and got it all resolved. Hope this helped someone in are same situation.

If any of you would like to help with the process to bring this company down please send complaints to the following people to add to the complaints already filed. I have placed complaints with the following agencies: BBB www.bbb.com FTC www.ftc.gow Royal Canadian Mounted Police www.rcmp.ca Once you are in the mounted police website you want to click the option for the phone busters and email them. I hope this will help to get them closed as well as get everyone some money returns. Another idea is to contact you local news station and make a complaint. Some news programs help consumers with these kinds of issues. We have contacted the local news in Southern California. We all will get revenge on this company one way or another.
