I recently went to an interview for Primerica in Lansing Mi. THey contacted me and reeled me in just like everybody else. I had never been to a job interview that made you watch a movie about them and sit through a presentation. During the boring video the people in the lobby kept clapping very loud and shouting out how great thier fiscal year had been.

After the video a poorly dressed man came in to begin the presentation. I heard a few minutes of their pitch and heard the words *small fee of $199 to change my future. I stood up and asked them where they put my coat. The "representative/owner" that had extended me this exclusive invitation, followed me and informed me that I was exactly what they were looking for. She would love to sit down and talk to me more about the company. She also said she was making over $100,000 a year working part-time. Would'nt I love to be doing the same. I again told her politely I was not interested. She persistantly hounded me about filling out a card, with my name and the name of several friends. This back and forth went on for 10 minutes she would not return my coat.

Finally, I asked her why somebody making more than 100 thousand would be wearing cheap shoes. She then took a very mean tone and basically threw my coat at me. I was furious when I left and I thought I should share my awful Primerca expirience.

If you do go to an interview at least do not let them take your coat, hold on to it for dear life. They WILL! take your coat hostage.

I just wanted y'all to understand I feel for that drop out with 8 kids. Life is rough. I'm a SSG in the Army about to finish my degree in Finance. Have been investing and reading about economics for years. A friend of mine, knowing this about me, tried to "recruit" me for this company as well. As I told him - in my humble opinion: wealth comes from years of studying and hard work. Anybody who tells you otherwise is trying to sell you something. The fact is, you're not going to make over 100,000 a year for any company without sweat. I enjoy helping soldiers write a budget and get financially on their feet. But I don't charge $199 to do so.

What are you talking about ?!?!? Who cares about how your social government robs you and makes everybody to pay for everybody else's problems. All I know is that Primerica is a rip off. That company cost me my job, and one of the Regional Vice President's had me beat down, just because he caught me in bed with his wife, when we got back from a trip to Tupper Lake, New York. From here on out people beat down a Primerica salesman. They are trying to steal from our hoods. We are poor and they are sleeping on mattresses stuffed with hundered dollar bills.

Hello MAX; I wrote: "...I guarantee, you will never hear from me again..." Since you changed the way you wrote to me and not using impolite words, I decide to response to you back, BUT LAST TIME. Please try to understand that after this correspondence we have to finish this never-ending story..... If you wish to write something back, fill free to do so - I hope, that letter will be your last as well. This report is not about the difference between Canadians and Americans, we have to let others continue to talk about Primerica, etc. The ONLY REASON I am writing to you is because you wrote: "...Canadians make so much MORE money than Americans do..." (( MORE )) ????? MAX !!! read my response one more time !!! I NEVER WROTE MORE. I don't even care about who makes MORE. Try to understand that the only currency difference effects Canadians when we would like to go for vacation to USA or for retirement. Many times I was in USA, - I agree that a lot of products are less expensive like gasoline, alcohol or tobacco. Don't you agree we should compare entire standard of living someone who is doing exactly the same job and for the same company. For Example: "Safeway" "Home Depot" "Wall-Mart" etc. etc. etc.... We have 1000's of the same stores or large Corporations. Do your homework.... take in consideration Medical expenses, taxes and education cost, <<< everything !!! >>> Have a nice day !!

Okay, let's get this out. You are right, Canadians make so much more money than Americans do. Yep, they are the worlds biggest Super Power. That's right. Yeah, they are so wealthy. I forgot how big amd mighty Canada is. d**n, what was I thinking ?!?!?!?! I don't see why us Americans even have to worry about war, or anything ? All we have to do is just go north to the World's Super Power. Keep telling jokes like that, one of these days you'll laugh too, whenever you find out the truth.

Hi MAX !!! I don't know why (???) but as soon as people hear the true opinion about themselves, they respond right away using impolite and rude language. - "you need that school" Yes, my Dear Max, - as you wrote, about yourself... I agree - you are dumb !!! especially when you think that Canadians make 38% less, compare to Americans people !! Rest, whatever you wrote to me, I just simply ignored based on your low level of education and intelligent... I forgive you !! I know, when you using that strong words, for sure makes you feel better. So use it again if you wish to, I guarantee, you will never hear from me again !! I have no time for this kind of conversation. P.S. Ten years ago I joined Primerica just for very short period of time. They like to rip-off own agents. I hate them since they took advantage of me !!! if you think, I am Life Insurance Salesman - you are wrong.

The original poster is right on about the shoes, especially in the financial services world. Appearance is everything. You wouldn't deposit money in a bank that had a tent as a headquarters, would you? Keep on buying your shoes at Pay-Less. You get what you pay for.

Bonnie, I don't tussle with no women. My name is Max. And I in construction. Sometimes, my job requires me to travel around to other places around the country. I hope that solves the mystery of why I'm not always in the same place. I like to travel. I just don't like to travel around my hood and try to rip off my peeps with some low rate death insurance. I call it death insurance because if you are dumb enough to fall for that stupid a*s scam you need to go and buy a double barrelled 12 guage and see what the barrell tastes like when you squeeze both triggers while loaded with triple alt buck shot. That there is the facts and they are as straight as they can be. In case you missed it, can't get a life due to fact that when I am home off the road from the different constructions sites, I have to work 4 jobs to pay back the hospital for all the reconcructive surgery I had to get just because Mark didn't like me.

Robert from Canada, Who do you think you are talking to me like that? I might be dumb but at least I don't work for a dollar that is only worth 62 cents. You don't need to worry about how I survive on $7.50 or even $1.75. You need to worry about keeping draft dodgers out of your country. By the way Life Insurance Salesmen are faggetts with little dicks that can't get a real job. So, they go door to door trying to rip off they neighbors. You can't do that in my hood, we likes to beat down b***h boy salesmen. 62 cents on the dollar? Sounds, like to me you need to the one getting on the welfare b***h-boy. And at least I can make a broad pregant unlike you, needle d**k. Must be all that moose shagging that makes you sterile.

MAX - you wrote: "I make $7.50 and hour. I know it sounds like alot of money but it isn't when you gots mouths to feed and $215.00 a month rent payment due..." MY QUESTIONS: How much money cost you INTERNET? How much time do you have to write with havings 4 jobs? How many rooms apartment can you rent for $215.00 a month? How many family members sleep one on each other? Are they also practising to have LARGE FAMILY? How can you survive with so many kids and making only $7.50 / Hrs.? Did you consider WELFARE? I think they will pay you more... Dear MAX, I think you are moron or big liar !!! PERSONALY, I had very bad and shocking experience with Primerica, when I come to America - as a dedicated agent almost 10 years ago I was Pushed to quit after what happened to me. Still I do believe what PFS teach people (re: life insurance) is good and help for many who don't understand policy. BUT MAX !!! if you are undercover life insurance agent and try to make up a story... I think you need to go back to school!!! wrote: ROBERT from CANADA

Both Willy and Max have to be one and the same person. Although I find these yarns to be entertaining, I think your stories would be better suited for the Tupper Lake Diaries that are posted on here daily. I might not have thought that you were one in the same, except you both have this facination with Pro Wings (or Pro Wingz when you are trying to sound "ghetto") and you both keep spelling Primerica the wrong way. (You both spell it Primemerica). As for "Max" who supposedly dropped out of school at 12, you certainly come across very literate and well educated in your ramblings. Next time when you ain't got nothin' else ta do, and have a hankerin' to write them dar stories, you might lend a bit of troofulness if you coordinate yer writing stye to the story being told.

#15REBUTTAL Individual responds

First of all let me tell you a little about myself and then how these damnedable, door-to-door salesmen ruined my life. I am what you call a "working stiff". When I turned 12 I had to quit school because my dad died and I had to go to work to help my mother provide for my 8 younger sisters and brothers as she was handicapped (she had her arm amputated when she was involved in a car accident with my father before he died). Well, that was 23 yrs ago now. When my mother died 8 years ago I sold the farm she and dad owned. When my youngest sister turned 18 and got a job working at the feed-seed store, I set out to make my own world. Well, now I have 8 kids of my own. I work in construction. What I don't have in book smarts I make up with the hard work with my hands. I work for D&H Contracting, I make $7.50 and hour. I know it sounds like alot of money but it isn't when you gots mouths to feed and $215.00 a month rent payment due. Well, when I was looking the newspaper one day (one that someone left the "Port-A-John" at work, I looked at the Help Wanted Ads. That's when I saw this deal for this Primemerica outfit. It told me I would make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year, and if I went to the First National Bank off of Mosely Ave on Tuesday night at 7:00PM they would tell me how. So, on Tuesday I had to take time off work (my job requires me to work from 4:00 AM till 9:00PM Monday Through Saturday. When I asked the boss man if I could get off work early he got pissed off at me and docked 3 days pay from me. So, I'm there at the Bank that night wearing my best clothes, (my brand new pair of Pro-Wings, my cleaniest pair of Rustler Jeans, and my favorie T-Shirt that says "Wine -'Em Dine Dine-'Em and 69-'Em (A gift from my brother in law that lives in Arkansas). I get there and there was a real good looking broad there wearing a buisness suit and a bunch of dudes there too, but I ain't no fagggett so I was checking out her the whole night. Anyway, they had this big fat guy tell me and a bunch of other folks that if we gave him $199.00 (A weeks pay for me) and we would all be rich as one of people you see on the TV. I said to myself "Hot-d**n that's for me !!!!!!!!" So, I went the liquor store down the street and cashed my Payroll Check and gave it him. Then the next day I told my boss to kiss my a*s I'm gonna go be rich with Primermica and get to hang out foxxy broads with all their teeth that wear classy business suits you can only get at fancy stores that you can get in fancy stores like SSears. Well, the next few days I was hanging with the "Big Cheese" (to protect myself I will only call him "Mark"). Well, Mark and me got to be real good friends, he gave me this real fancy shirt with a lizard on the titty. And we walked all over the town looking for people to buy our term insurance. Well, when we didn't have nobody wantin to buy the term insurance. At the end of the week I told Mark that I needed some money to go and buy some Captain Crunch for my family's supper that week. He got mad at me and called me a "Low life piece of s**t". That's when I got mad at him and kicked him in his nuts and quit the "Rich Mans" job. Lucky for me, the boss man at D&H was cool, even though he hired me on at only $1.75 an hour. Well, one day I saw Mark and he had these 3 dudes beat me down. Now, I just got out of the hospital with a cracked skull and 5 broke ribs. The doc says that I will probablly die before I turn 50 because of the concussions my brain took at the hands of the Primemerica. My family has left me and I have to work 4 jobs just to pay back the hospital. Thanks to Primerica I have one foot in the grave and the other on a bananna peel. Thanks alot.

I think it's hilarious when people come to this site and say "I'm not with Primerica, but..." and then go on to spout the same drivel that is regurgitated at flopportunity meetings. Things like "maybe it's your own fault if you didn't succeed" or "you can attain anything if you work hard enough". Fact is, those sayings are worn and tired out and directly contradict the so-called 'success' achieved with any MLM. The public is starting to become weary of them, and when shills post to this site, it makes it even more obvious.

For the last person who posted a message regarding making 100k and wearing cheap shoes... I made about $250k (Canadian) last year, and I still enjoy my buy one get one for half off payless shoes. Granted I drive a Porsche, but you can never tell how much a person makes unless you are them, or their accountant. I do not work for Primerica and have no association to them. Maybe one of the reasons that so many people are upset with Primerica (I have learned a lot from this site, I think) is that they do not have the work ethic to succeed, and they would rather blame somebody else than themselves. It may be true that Primerica does not sell the greatest products at the greatest prices, I don't know... but what I do know is that even some people made money in Amway! If you have the will to succeed, you will. Whether you want to be the world's greatest MLM salesperson, or the greatest teacher. If everybody would just be happy with a Ford Focus, and "good enough" clothing and housing... none of this would really matter now would it.

Yeah right, people who make $100k buy their shoes at payless. I don't think so! I have beenin direct sales for over 20 years. In that time I have had numerous people from many companies try to recruit me. A few years ago I had an appointment with a guy in Trenton, NJ. When I attempted to close the deal, he tried to turn the situation around and recruit me. He told me he was making over $60K part-time ina addition to his full time job. When I made it clear I was happy where I was, and then again tried to close the deal, all of a sudden his money was tied up in other places. Other places like he hadn't made any yet. It was obvious by his house, and his belongings and his mannerisms that he was completely full of crap. He just couldn't afford it. When a salesperson tells you what they are making, cut it at least in half and then you will have a more accurate idea of what the truth is. Primerica is no more than an Amway type of Insurance company. Don't be scammed.

Just because she had cheap shoes on doesn't mean anything. I know a man that is worth millions that probably doesn't even know the name Primerica but drives around in a beat up old Buick with one hub cap left. He wears sweat pants everyday, and he will bum a dollar from you for the Coke machine. My point is it doesn't matter what you drive or what you wear. If you are making $100,000 a year, you do not necessarily have to wear top-of-the-line shoes or drive around in a Mercedes or BMW. What is so wrong with driving a KIA or Hyundai. As materialistic as you seem to be, you just need to stick with the credit card companies that keep you maxed out to afford those expensive shoes you probably like to wear. As for me, I prefer to buy mine at Payless Shoes (who can tell the difference but you) and invest the difference. I hope to be one of the few that is "financially independent" someday. And I know that Primerica will help me achieve my goals. They already have.
