I AM A MYSTERY SHOPPER AND GOT THIS E-MAIL:

"We have selected you from our database to Test and Keep a Dell Notebook. To proceed just complete the information at the link below and we will send the Dell Notebook to you. You will need to givefeedback to us on the item and then you can keep the Dell Notebook. "

When you go to the link and look into the terms, it clearly states,: "You are not obligated to opt-in to receive any Sponsor offers when you take a survey. " However, in the Prize rewards section (mind you: this is supposed to be a "testing job", not a prize) , it states " In order to receive your gift you must: (1) Meet the eligibility requirements (2) complete the rewards bonus survey (3) complete the number of sponsor offers in the redemption instructions (4) Follow redemption instructions."

THEREFORE, I decided not to go any further.

In the past, for a similar company, http://www.consumersavingcenter.com/ I completed all of the forms, but never received the premium, as promised. I contacted any link I could find, with no responses. Never got my free Gateway Media Player. Then I had to cancel or make sure that I returned all of the items within 30 days so as not to get charged further for automatic shipments and subscriptions renewals. Much more trouble that it was worth--2-3 hours of a neverending "Bogus" survey and a big WASTE OF TIME. These things should be outlawed.!!!!!!

CONSUMER SUGGESTIONS: I you want to try out one of these deals, make sure that you keep track of each page and links that you are on. They tene dto change names of companies and websits from page to page--so that you don't know where to follow-up for your prize.

I receive one or two of the same e-mails every day. They are all scams. I've never known anyone who actually recieved their gift, even after completing the sponsor's offers. The web is full of complaints about this scam.

This goes on all the time on the internet. It was on the news on the west coast about how these "internet surveys ask you to pay ect." Well what your paying for is more than the actual item itself. Best bet, as always, Attorney General!!!
