This company sells a nice face wash product, but they don't tell you that you are signing up to get charged every couple of weeks. I canceled my membership on 4/12/06, but was billed on 4/17/06. This charge over drafted my account, which I was unaware of. I accumulated $389.19 in overdraft fees from making small purchases with my debit card. Proactiv reimbursed me the cost of the product minus shipping on 4/21/06, acknowledging that they were at fault. But the account had already been over drafted before the reimbursement. I was told to fax my bank statement to the company and they would reimburse the bank fees. I did so on 4/26/06. Meanwhile my bank is charging me $5 a day for an extended overdraft fee. I called proactiv to check on the status of my fax and was told I needed to fax another copy to the company. I did this on 5/23/06. Today I called Proactiv again and spoke to Barbara(Badge # 190080) and was told to fax a third copy to Proactiv and that they probably couldn't help me anyway. I haven't had access to the account for a month and a half, and in 7 days I will be reported to a collection agency. My balance of my checking account without the fraudulent charge from Proactiv is $17.07, which is clearly shown on the statement that was faxed to Proactiv twice now. I filed a complaint with the BBB and just received the response today that Proactiv tells me that they weren't at fault! Now i'm young and $389.19 is a lot of money to me, but the thing that really gets me upset is that all of their representatives understood that the company is at fault and gave me instructions to get reimbursed. So in a nutshell they trick you into a automatic draft of your checking account(apparently whenever they feel like it), give you the run around hoping you go away, then eventually tell you they aren't at fault sorry. DO NOT ORDER PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY. If you like the product you can get it cheaper on auction sites and protect your bank account.
