PROGAS and HEATING SERVICES FALSE REPORT OVERCHARGING WILL NOT RESPOND TO CALLS lANGLEY British Columbia
am writting this report because we are not getting any response from PROGAS and HEATING SERVICES. On Monday July 16th, ProGas sent a technician over to our home to check over our furnace. He was checking things over and said that we take good care of our furnace. He then talked about special filters that would clean the air and would benefit for better health. So I said O.K. He was being very freindly. He was here for about 1hr. He then gave me the paper work He also said he had to order the two new filters.Then he left. When I really sat down and looked at the paper work I almost fell over. The filters are way to expensive,I have been trying to get in touch with them but have had no luck. The tech. also said there was a gas leak which is totally bogus he had the nerve to add extra labor.then he checked off the furnace was o.k. he charged200.00 for extra labor, 438.00 for filters 150.00 for service 70.00for tax the total of 858.50. that is highway robbery we are both retired seniors. We want some action done now or I will be going to the RCMP and have them investigated for fraud. I am very angry that I cannot get a response from them to cancel the filters. Very angry senior citizen.
